I thought that the Mangits were an Uzbek tribe, not Persian. Are you sure they were Persian?

And I also heard from other channels that Muhammad Alim Khan was the last descendant of Genghis Khan to rule a state. Was he really descended from Genghis Khan or was it just a fanciful claim ?

Most sources point to Alim being descended from Genghis Khan. The Mangit Dynasty as a whole however, wasn’t.
I believe the Kumul Khanate in northwestern China has the last ruler descended from Genghis Khan. I’ll cover that khanate in an upcoming video.
