I love using ProCreate now, but it definitely is a STEEP learning curve! I Also have learned SO MUCH MORE in the Tattooing 101 program than I did under my first mentor as an apprentice! I actually left my apprenticeship because I was so beat down, after 2yrs! I am now revitalized & LOVING it AGAIN! (Unfortunately had ANOTHER Spinal surgery recently 2in 3 yrs and 5 in 10yrs, so I will not be in a shop working anytime soon! But I will be READY when I am released! Thanks to Tattooing 101 and everything I have learned/re-learned so far!!
this design is so amazing. I love positive feeling themes like this. It is easier for me to learn from this can from a skull with a dagger in it for example.
Great tutorial! I have been tattooing for years but only in the last year or so switched to using the iPad for my art and stencil making. This was very helpful and time saving. I would spend hours meticulously shading small areas. Great content you should add this video in your artist accelerator course under the digital art section
just asked copilot whats a good way to learn art for the purpose of tattooing and it gave me a few various point of interest and then linked one of your videos so someone at microsofts got your back lol
What about shading off of incomplete lines? Selecting sections isn't an option there. Right now I am completing the line, selecting the area, shading, then erasing the line.. is that how you do it or do you have a better way?
If you’re shading off incomplete lines, one way is to lower the opacity of the line layer so it’s just a guide, then shade directly without erasing anything. You can refine the edges later, and it saves time from drawing and erasing repeatedly.
Also - Could you do a video on which Brush packs are the best to use for Tattoo designs? Or what you would recommend?? Thanks a Bunch!
What’s the brush set you were using?
Great video thank you! Can you make more about Procreate brushes?
THIS!! I also hope they make a video of ways to put skin tone in faces for American traditional tattoos

Echoing most comments. Can you do a video on/link your brushes for shading/stipple please?
I made a comment with exact brushes and where to get them and he deleted it. It seems like he just wants to gatekeep
Amazing!!

How long should you wait to hear from an artist through email before a follow up or just move on to another?

Nice video
Is this a app?
Yea
Yes you buy it for around £12
🔥
So why delete or hide my comment about the exact brushes that you used in the video? Are you trying to gatekeep? Hmm
Why did you shade the top so dark doesn’t make sense . Those off the whole design.
Art’s in the eye of the beholder, right? Sometimes a darker shade adds contrast and makes the rest pop-just depends on the vision for the piece.
