What is the Patti powder for? I looked it up and it says it's for insomnia, so just wonder if it's really necessary. All other paper mache things just have glue and paper.

I wondered this, too. I think it’s “wall putty” powder... like Polyfilla (in the UK).

Patti powder/ wall putty seems to be for lending some hardness to the carton pulp and the Elmer's glue binds the pulp and putty together so the final product is firm enough to be moulded into shapes and once dried holds its shape

@@wilmalumanog5847 ive made clay from flour and paper before, as long as you have the glue, you can urn anything into some kind of a sludge. I think I;ve even seen people use corn startch. I know this is 3 years old but Ive never heard of patti powder b4. I duno if this person is from the us or the uk. you can also just skip thepaper and use just flour to make clay too but if you have pets I wouldn't cuz it'll get eaten haha
