This video is my first time to create handmade paper out of recycled egg cartons to recreate the rough texture. Egg cartons are often used in model making to mimic the texture of concrete, stone or brick walls. Because egg cartons don't come flat, I decided to use the material and turn it into paper in hopes that I can also use it for model making.

Ive seen molded recycled paper plant pots that would simply require pressing the wet paper medium into a clean pot! Kinda kewl! 🍃
    Thank you!!! 🧡

You have a meat tenderiser but not a blender??

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

lol I don’t have one for paper making which a lot of the tutorials that I watched recommended a blender that won’t get used for food anymore. fortunately the meat tenderiser is much easier to clean so that no paper fibers get mixed with food. if I end up making more paper I’ll definitely invest in a separate blender just for paper 🤞

Nice ❤ has anyone tried painting with watercolurs on that kind of homemade paper?

    •  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

I haven’t done that but I might just have to try it. I’ve seen other artists paint on handmade paper and the watercolours bleed A LOT more. And I’ve also seen handmade paper tutorials where they add a chemical to make it suitable for drawing/painting, but unfortunately I can’t remember what the chemical was 😭😅

The comments should be in red or black to make it easier to read them.
