You made many good choices and decisions about your life Kseniia. Most people cannot do this as effectively as you have managed. Its very impressive that although being born in a country which was extremely challenging you have become well educated and very successful. That is a rarity. You have gained wisdom and experience and I am sure that your future is bright. Thank you for sharing! ))
Congratulations, Kseniia! You have bettered more challenges than many of us will need to. Well done! Keep it up. As a 69 year old motorcyclist, one of my goals is to continue motorcycle camping/travel for as long as possible. At least another 20 years!
I was fortunate to grow up in a state that strongly supported public education, including excellent, low tuition universities. I worked and saved prior to entering the university (This was in the 1970s.) and worked for the university throughout my undergraduate and graduate years, thus avoiding the large debts that students often accrue today. I think your parents grew some super vegetables when you were young, allowing you to mature as a brilliant, self-directed, and well rounded person. I found your channel through your videos with Jocelin Snow, and continue to be very impressed with your discipline and with your wonderful videos. This video was particularly interesting.
Agreed again again. I have to learned all these lessons the hard way. I really deeply understand the lifestyle inflation I live next to Paris and very often it's crazy. Thanks the algorithm for showing me your content. Hope for the best for you.
Congratulations, beautiful story. As an immigrant I can relate to every word you said. I also enjoy your video of your trips to Mexico. So much so that I was inspired to undertake something I always wanted to do, ride down Baja on my motorcycle. I’m an old fart but better late than never, right? Good luck Xenia.
Sound advice. You’ve an old head on a young body! I was 32 before breaking free from a wage, Learning a craft skill and becoming self employed. 30 years later, minimal mortgage, ample house, an adult son, I started following your m/c travels (fellow biker) and observed your solid self confidence, likely instilled by your loving parents. Your two posts since have been very insightful and educational. I really hope you are in a good place now, you seem relaxed and content. If you have made a loving home for yourself, (in Oregon?!?) then, as we say in Scots; lang may yer lum reek! You are the sort of ‘influencer’ that deserves respect.
This was a great video Kseniia. Although I am now retired, like you I am an immigrant and I had to learn the financial systems that are in place here in the USA. Your lessons apply just as much for people in retirement as when people are employed before retirement and maybe even more so. Thank you for sharing your experience.
I am an electrical engineer from Kenya....lost my job during coronavirus pandemic wanted to buy a motorbike ride it to south Africa but lifestyle inflation 🤦 took all my savings. Now am back to the drawing board more wiser.
It would have been useful to know: 1) how old are you; 2) how much did you save; 3) your gross annual income at your peek; 4) how much do you currently spend in rent. As you I spent a lot of money when I was young. I had the opportunity to move to the US but things didn't go well, and in the end I did not. Also made a mistake not selling a business when I had the opportunity, that 10 years later I had to shut down. Saved a decent amount of money in my last 8 years, own a flat, but I am far to have enough for an early retirement. I am now working part time making over 1000 USD a day, but I am currently looking to make much more. I am now living in Asia, in cheap countries, and I save a lot.
Only recently did the S&P500 do well enough for most people to semi retire after only a few years of investment. It definitely wasn't like this for most of its history.
Eh i don’t know. Equaling what happened in Russia with your assets to a more stable economy is a false equivalence. A perfect comparison is someone who grows up in a police state and then gets asylum in a western country and still fears police in uniform. It’s simply not the same thing.
amongst young brilliant Americans of European descent (mostly males currently) there is a growing dream of taking their tech/engineering skills to Mother Russia thanks to the freedoms and greater living standards + quality of life
Thank you very much to put such effort in your channel! Great videos, sound advice and refreshingly different from many other channels (which became just too big). Your (very slight, absolutely not disturbing) accent is so charming and very pleasant to listen to. America needs more people like you, to put many things in perspective and share some fresh an different opinions on the "american way" and the view of the world. Looking forward to any news from you! Best wishes from Switzerland! (You would be moste welcome here 🏔🏕🏍 .)

Loving parents surely helped.
Thank you for sharing your story, friend. The U.S. is lucky to have you!
Everyone's story is unique, yours for sure is extra unique.
Желаю удачи во всех начинаниях! Ты крутая! ;) Жду следующих видео.

The perspective you have of the world, of life and of yourself is very interesting. I learn a lot from you.!!
Very well done and very inspiring. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy your life, you have earned it.

You don't think Trump would take total control of the US economy for his own benefit if he had the chance?
@@inkydoug probably. but he can't.
people forget Trump already was president, and the economy was way better than puppet bidens economy. I'm very optimistic
@@simulacrae Trump has no regard for law, and he is removing all obstacles to his complete power.
