I think the comparison is valid based on pricing. I was in the market 2 years ago choosing between the M2 Macbook Pro vs the Asus Zephyrus G14. For the same specs (512gb SSD, 16gb RAM) the cost of the Macbook Pro was almost doubled ($2699!) vs the G14 ($1399). The decision was easy! If you're carrying it around university, I'd go for the g14, you can fit it in smaller backpacks and you won't really be hardcore gaming at university anyway (you're there to study, not play all day). @@ehtasam2080if you are comparing gaming performance of a MacBook to a 4090 laptop, you aren’t getting the point of the MacBook. I also have an m3 max mbp, and it’s selling point is it’s portable, efficient nature. I would like to see 4090 unplugged and performing at the same level as when it was plugged in (sure it’ll be faster, but MacBooks don’t have to care about losing any performance). MacBooks are workflow machines, not for gaming. I know that I will last hours longer than a 4090 laptop which as a college student, I need. I can’t be plugged in all the time. Hi i love your videos. I have a question. I am thinking about buying a g16 with 4070 and i9 ultra. Would you recommend it? Can i use it for 5 years without problem? Thanks
Thank you! :) It's a great laptop, but the 2024 refresh with AMD is quite a bit better in terms of heat and performance. But that one might be expensive right now, so that might not be an option for everyone. The Ultra 9 version is still good though! No factory defects were found in this model, so it should last a long time if you take good care of it :)
Omg another future proofing🤡🤡🤡🤡 no dont buy high end laptop just to have it rot in your hands and than its worth nothing and you can just throw it out🤡. Buy what you need and sell it after 2years and get a new laptop every 2 years.
@SonuyashAI Some regions are limited by model variants unfortunately... For example Canada has a 4060 32GB version, but others don't have a 32GB version at all :(
In terms of gaming experience and image quality what’s the difference between oled and ips? I’m currently looking at the zephyrus g models and wanna know if the oled screen is worth paying for
Compared to IPS it has perfect blacks, VERY good looking colors, and incredibly fast response time (0.1ms compared to like 1-5 ms). Both are fine for gaming, but an OLED is definitely worth paying for imo :)

@crimsontechyt I know that the g14 is better in gaming but my usage is for college and light gaming
that 4050 transcend was for 1200 $us so is it good?

@@ziad12w74 Yeah, that's a pretty okay price!
@@crimsontechyt thanks , and fr ur reviews are the best🫶
M3 max (16 inch) vs G16 next ? 👀
4090 laptop is 2x efficient than apple m3 max 40 core.
Ran resident evill on lenovo 4090 and friends m3 max 40 core at max settings, rt off.
4090 laptop battery was 2x faster.
4090 laptop wall power was over 3x faster.
If I wanna game, I can use my 4090 pc.
@@ehtasam2080 yeah and I know for a fact, that the cpu speed of the ultra 9 is vastly slower than the m3 max. You are also not taking into account that the m3 max is rendering everything on a 4k screen compared to 1440p on the legion. If you want to game, don’t get a MacBook. No one ever got a MacBook because they wanted to game on it. That is not what it’s for.
@@hyperone1356 copilot+pc are revolutionary.
They are the one to compete.
Currently they are focusing on extreme thin light 1000$ to 2000$ range to compete with mac air edition
In future when we see 4000$ to 7000$ copilot+pc they will be the real conpetitor to macbook 16 m3 max m4 max....
Cant wait to seen a big chip with intregrated nvidia flagship gpu.
Lunar lake performance is insane.
It has similar performance to m1 max chip while use 1/4 power.
Lunar lake 17 watts.
M1 max 60 watts.
@@nitinkrishnaswamy5825yeah lol. How is bro comparing a dedicated gpu to integrated graphics. Especially in a MacBook. Bro thought he was spitting. I have had many gaming laptops and built pcs too. Ofc gaming is better with a 4090. Apple never said it wasn’t going to be. But for stuff like ai processing, m3 max is superior due to its unified memory. Only comparing with gaming is beyond stupid
Did rog zephyrus really lasted 10 hrs in video playback 😮🤔🤯
Yes, it has amazing battery life for a windows laptop :D
(And especially for a gaming laptop)
great video as always, love the vibe that you filmed this from your phone even tho the quality's amazing

Thank you! :D

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A VIDEO COMPARING THESE TWO FOR SO LONG AND FINALLY HERE IT IS!!! FR though this is an incredibly well put together video. Everything is covered and in great detail. I found it very entertaining as well, even with just the text. I just found myself smiling like an idiot and enjoying the video lol! thank you so much Crimson Tech! I'm a new subscriber and fan of the channel!!! :)
HAHA thank you so much, that's very nice :D
I'm glad you liked it!
Hi i love your videos. I have a question. I am thinking about buying a g16 with 4070 and i9 ultra. Would you recommend it? Can i use it for 5 years without problem? Thanks
Thank you! :)
It's a great laptop, but the 2024 refresh with AMD is quite a bit better in terms of heat and performance.
Is 32 gb ram available in14 inch laptop?
Yes, it is :)
@@crimsontechyt I want indian varient..I can't finding out 32gb ram unit,,can you help me please
@SonuyashAI Some regions are limited by model variants unfortunately... For example Canada has a 4060 32GB version, but others don't have a 32GB version at all :(
@@crimsontechyt Thank you for providing the right information... You're the only person I've seen succeed on TH-cam without talking in your videos

any plans to get in the G16 amd in? I feel like it combines together the best bits on the g14 and g16 (intel), i think you may like it
I do plan to get it, but a couple of other laptops are higher in priority on my list rn :)
@@crimsontechyt oh wow, well would be cool to see regardless which u review next
@@crimsontechyt thanks 😃
I think the G16 would be a better comparison because they both have the same size (and its the one I prefer). Great comparison though!
No no no g16 compare to 16inch m2max or m3pro or m3max and watch the mac destroy x86 junk
1:00 What is the purpose of this test?
To see if a laptop bends while pressing on it. If it bends a lot, it might break or bend during accidents (like if someone SITS on it D:)
@@crimsontechyt This test and whole of the video was really helpful
Bad video why compare a office laptop to a creator/gaming laptop.
Compare M2max or m3pro 14inch to this ryzen crap and watch the mac destroy this powerhungry slow x86💩
