Hi there thank you for the demonstration of tracking.
Ive noticed, in active track mode when you're in the inner circle the drone is further away to you(B - 1.4 Zoom) than when your in the outer circle(F - and you have to move drone away as you said), when should be the opposite way.
This is a little bit confusing for the viewers.
You can change the distance and the minimum height of each active track circle to track an object, in the active track settings. I've set mine (Inner circle 4m Radius/2m Height) - (Outer circle 11m Radius/5m Height)
Also when in spotlight mode you forgot to mention that the drone stop follow you by flight but only by gimbal...
Spotlight mode is perfect to shoot POI keeping the chosen POI subject always centered no matter where you moving your drone and this can gives you a very nice cinematic recording.

Hey Kevin it’s pretty smart how it works and the fact it keeps you in the frame whilst still recording and you don’t have to reselect your subject. Yes you certainly could use it as a outro like you say thanks man 👍

Great idea that results in smooth, natural transition, thank you for the inspiration! BTW, I noticed that during parallel tracking the drone always keeps the object in the middle of the screen, even when the tracking started on the edge. Is there any way to fix the tracked object say in the left third of the screen to get more professional look?
You can in spotlight mode if you make your subject a fixed point. I will test what you are suggesting as it’s an interesting point 👍 thanks 🙏

@@nobby-green Yes, that was an excellent video. I guess I don’t normally encounter that because I’m usually stationary. But your video did inspire me to calibrate my compass.

Your compass was jumped around like crazy.

dji should make a 'wii nunchuck' type device you could hold in your hand and have like 2-4 programmable buttons and an analogue stick.. you could walk around normally and not check your screen every 10 seconds and still change the things.. and have it have a vibrate if it lost lock on you.. i should patent that idea shouldnt i..

Great video but you didn’t mention the update home point if you want to return to home on your along your walk if you go further than planned so it doesn’t fly all the way way back to your car😅
Yes there is that but at that close distance you would cancel it and land it 👍 but good point 😁
Can you please tell me if the "auto mode" of the active track works for a car in dji mini 4 pro with the latest fly app version 1.13.5 ?
Yes I’m sure it does. Although I think that using the clock face and shifting manually is far better 👍
@@nobby-green but in a video uploaded by Shaun the drone it showed that the auto mode for vehicles did not work in the previous versions. So I asked him the same question and in reply he said that it still does not work. So kindly check this thing and let me know.

No most of the bigger drones have this feature. Unlike the minis unfortunately. I personally think they all should have it. Thanks 🙏

I seem to like the 4 pro better, but I kmow of the 50 meter limit I think it is. Same in car too!!!

Hey Ray. No when switching it keeps locked on the subject. You maybe referring to subject scanning which is different when you first start to track to save drawing the box around you 👍 thanks 🙏
