That might not have sounded right but the add was a lot of nature shots so I thought it was filler. The main reason I think it didn’t seem like a comercial was because your editing in this blog was really good!

One of the best pastries that I've ever had - not just in Querétaro, but in my life - is the kouign amann at Galileo Panificio on the east side of Centro.

Great list Alex! One of my favorites for coffee and breakfast is Galileo Panificio, they have the best egg/cheese sandwich on their own bread, which you can buy, it's delicious!

Cul y Cul restaurante and organic supplies
Galileo on Calle Cinco de Mayo has better chocolate babka than NYC!
El Mirador for views of the city. Short walk from below plaza. And on the way, look for breach in church wall where the siege of the city was ended by the Mexican Republican army.
Plaza de los Fundadores for street food and watching children play in the fountains
Parque Alameda. Short walk from above plaza.

Man I am so dying and jealous but at the same time so so impressed with Queretaro. I honestly love the vibe and feels like it’s almost like living in the US and/or Canada. It’s so much better the quality of life there than in Veracruz. If anybody here is in Queretaro, I am hoping to come visit as well as to live there. Hope to get some pictures and videos for my travel blog videos. (:

This may be a dumb question, but can you drink the tapwater in Mexico?

It's most common to purchase filtered water to drink.

    • @gensgreenmagic6871

@@alex-wittman This to me is a dealbreaker. If you can;t drink the water, or for that matter bathe or brush your teeth, you are in a very vulnerable position. What if your supply chain is disrupted? At least we have safe water here in the US, if nothing else.

@@gensgreenmagic6871 the quality of the water varies around Mexico just like it does in the United States. In Querétaro, I cook with the water & wash my produce.
