@@UniversalAudio Which is nice with the USB-C port cause as tech gets better with emulation you should be able to update it! (So long as UA keeps supporting it)
This pedal is outstanding. Unbelievable tone and versatility. Unfortunately, this video is useless. The constant knob twitching does not show how great this pedal is, and the damn letters moving on top of the demo are very distracting. Just get the pedal, you'll love it. They made a lousy video for a great pedal.
Absolutely love this pedal... Nice addition Team UA!!
🤘🏻
Thanks! 🎉
How does the 1176 emulation on this compare to the 1176 on UAD Max pedal?
It's the same core algorithm. We do make subtle level/voicing changes per product if needed, but it's the same amazing compressor in mono form.
hi, when using in mode parallel, is it a fixed 50% blend or you can control separately the amount of dry and compression volume?
The output determines the amount of compressed signal.
Can someone tell me when this pedal was released? Just curious
August of 2023
Does it work on vocals and is it more precise or "mojo analo“ than the plugins ?
You CAN use it on vocals, but if you're in a DAW, the plugin is the way to go for sure.
what the usb port does?
It's used for firmware updates via UA Connect app.
How does it sound on acoustic guitar?
awesome. I bought two. One for my electric Guit pedal board and one for my acoustic sounds.
Please tell me what amp and speaker was used here! Im very much interested in this compressor as I have disliked many comps in the past.
These were all recorded using the 1176 pedal straight into a UAFX amp pedal (Dream for the 1st, 2nd, and 4th examples, Woodrow for the 3rd)
Does it work for bass as well?
Sure does.
Does this go before the amp or after? 1176 is a post mic compressor. Pls dont say "wherever you want", i want to know what is the intended usage.
Most players use it in front of the amp or in a loop.
I'm thinking this is the one for me.
Is this analog or is it a digital emulation? Out of pure interest, I’m not a tone purist nor a digital enemy, just want to know.
All digital.
