you can see at 5:13 as the UP engines pass under trees, the massive heat uplift of the 12 cylinder engines breathing out hot air ,like a giant fire breathing dragon.
@@RRTrainVideos Yw I’ve seen that train come down cajon pass and wondered where it ended up, not a lot of coal coming to California , I live near the up main in LA county and never see coal anymore for export 🤷🏽lol wonder why lol thanks again for the great videos 👍
Let me say up front, I'm for using the vast amounts of coal reserves in the US. What is shocking about the beautiful coal train is the People's Republik of Kalifornia allowed coal to be moved through.
These videos are crazy good! 😮
Thank you very much! 😎

I've seen another coal train come down Cajon and go West towards long Beach, presumably for export.
Nice video bro!
Thanks Big Dog!😎
nice, the pounding on the rail is just flat spots on the metal wheels or on the bearings broken
Lol, thank you Sarge
I didn’t know that Fisherman’s Retreat was that large now. Last time I was there in 1978 it had one or two ponds with a picnic area.
Yea, they usually seem pretty busy everytime I pass thru.
Great catch there's a export coal train that runs to Mexico I believe
@@scotty4579 thanks 😎
hmmm I have yet to see a coal train this size flow through Yuma, AZ
They might pass thru out there after dark.
will another one of these coal trains come through again soon?
Not sure on that one. From what I've read, they only run once a month or so when needed..

I believe they use a spray that keeps the coal dust down, there, Bill.
