@@h0m3st4r i think the comet azur a lot of times are non ironically accurate because the massive damage of comet azur comes from a lot of thicks and just one beam of comet azur dont do so much damage compared to a 5 seconds holding comet azur in one target
Freiren would collect all the scadu blessings before fighting each boss
And probably take 5 years while not considering that her coop teammates have a shorter lifespan than her.
She will most likely collect lots useless spells before fighting each big boss.
Because that's what Himmel would have done too.

Damn this brings a breath of fresh air into parry playstyle. I wonder if a complete playthrough of base game and DLC with this build is gonna be as interesting or it's just Renella fight.
I will do Messmer next, what bosses would you want to watch with this playstyle?

Talismans might be a negation talisman, radagon icon, stargazers heirloom and daedicars woe
@@kokorochacarero8003 I assume the Daedicar’s Woe icon actually comes from Beloved Stardust, which makes more sense for the build.
Talismans were for this run the Physical Negation talisman (Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman) and the Magical damage negation one (Spelldrake Talisman), though I didn't use damage increasing ones mainly as I didn't want the fight to take even less time. Probably would go with Dagger talisman and Blade of Mercy.
Aside the two talismans for damage negation the other two were Beloved Stardust (where the increased damage icon comes from, and also Graven-Mass Talisman which just flat out increases sorcery damage.
For stats just put most of it into intelligence (80) and as much as you can into mind and vigor.
The equipment you mentioned are all correct btw.

All moon spells cancel out spells that get in contact with them, at 1:40 you can see the glintblades get absorbed by Rellana's twin moons

That was fucking awesome. I never knew that Rabbi’s moon spell could block sorcery projectiles like that. And you waiting after staggering Rellana to use her move against her at the end was the cherry on top. I had a stupid smile on my face while watching this. Awesome video.

Yeah, people still don't remember what frieren teaches Fern. They just use the basic magic that everyone learn in the beginning, so you are supposed to just use the glitterstone
This exactly glintsone alone is amazingly mana efficient per amount of dmg it does.
The teleport should have been a weapon art for staves

When I was fighting her for 3 hours straight on 30fps I just knew parrying would make my life 10x easier but I just couldn't bring myself to suddenly switch playstyles after having one armament all game 😭😭

@@kage_hunter yeah tthe new staf allows you to cast incantations as well, fitting for freiren to able to use all kinds of spells
@@xenosnake I think they're talking about the Staff of the Great Beyond...which, now that I think about it, kind of looks like a corrupted version of Frieren's staff.

Mages in Freiren are speedy af, that's why their spells are more powerful. Combine with strong barrier magic, so they are well balanced on mid/far attack, defense, and agility.
Do it with a spell counter instead of a buckler, and then it's believable when squinting.
Also dont use the crutical attacks. Use a spell instead.
You're only showing that you're really good at the one trick.
I haven't beaten the whole game since I started at release, but I'm still surprised I got as far as I did when I didn't even fight like 1/3rd as good as this.
I mean lore wise she would be only using the most basic level 1 spells to fight her enemies with but this was still an impressive fight.

Nice showcase I thought magic would be way more difficult against her when I fought her hence why I switched to strength iron balls cragblade but seeing this makes me wanna fight her with magic again
Amazing fight, though being nitpicky I don't think Frieren has the dexterity or arm strength to deflect a sword blow with a buckler 😅The misericorde she'd be perfectly capable of using but probably would opt not to and instead would use the downtime to set up a spell barrage, like you did at the end

Frieren would just spam glintstone pebble. It's simple, doesn't use a lot of fp, and eventually gets the job done. No flashiness.
