I have just over a year til my Wedding! We are getting married on land, with a hog roast, sword exchange ceremony, in a tree and armour on my dress proper viking bash! Sod a wedding that doesnt suit us! We have actually only been away together once in 7 years (disneyland paris, my boys first time on a plane!) and you and Benji convinced us to book up our first cruise for our honeymoon! 14 Nights in the norweigan fjords!!! So excited for you doll, set the trend of doing whatever the f**k you want!

As much as I love hearing about other people’s wedding plans (and I really do) it also pulls on my heartstrings as I lost my husband and soulmate last November leaving me a widow at 41 years old. Love is amazing and I’m so pleased you’ve got it in your life x

You could always do a pre cruise photo shoot of all of your accessories and dress with nautical/rope type items, that way you don’t have to worry about it on the ship! Congrats to you both and have the best time ❤

Congratulations! Your plans all sound wonderful and so much fun to make! You could mock up a Wedding Announcement to use for photos, in lieu of an actual invitation for your big day - and then it would be nice to use in a scrap book or frame afterwards. And a yes to those Bridal Mouse Ears!

My husband & I had an unconventional wedding & it was the best decision we made. We got ready together over a glass of fizz & took our time we didn’t have a traditional wedding reception then jetted off on honeymoon it was perfect. Congrats & enjoy every minute of the planning (I loved that bit) & everything that follows sending lots of love xx

With your cricut you could do not an invite but like announcement of your wedding with date place time with the little items you want in a picture. Yes, wear your veil ears in Disney. I wore mine after the wedding.
I love how you and Benji are approaching your wedding! Cannot believe you only have 6 months to go, wow! My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary last week, our wedding was wonderful but it’s the marriage that counts. If we were to get married again, I would do things differently and more for us. Do your wedding for you, not other people. I didn’t realise it was your 30th birthday when you’re onboard, what a fantastic way to celebrate all of these milestones! Very excited for you both xx

Brogan! This made me feel quite emotional! You’re going to make the most beautiful bride and I think it’s genuinely wonderful it’s just purely about the two of you. We’re looking to get married next year but it’s going to be a veryy small. My fiancé and I have even spoken about us walking down the aisle together as there will be no one giving me away as such. It’s either that or my two toddlers walking me down (which makes me emotional typing it ❤️). Please make more of these videos as you go along. I feel so lost in the wedding world. I just want to look nice, marry my best friend, have a first dance with him and my babies, eat and drink 😂 I just feel like there a million other things I have to think of. You bring such a calming take to it all xx

We got married in the restrictions of Covid in 2021. In 2022 we held a Wedding Celebration and called it 'The day as it should have been'. 🎉 We celebrated two years married a couple of weeks ago and are so pleased we had our wedding for us in a small ceremony and then celebrated the day with everyone exactly a year later on our 1st anniversary. Made the day ours and not everyone else's ❤
The wedding card thing had me thinking, maybe you could invite friends and family to send a card before the cruise and then you can have a morning during the honeymoon where you have a proper loved up day, spa, breakfast in bed and sit together and open the cards. It might make you feel more connected to everyone back home within your day if that makes any sort of sense. Obviously its your wedding and you do what you think is best but could be something you may not have considered. I think this is such a beautiful way to get married. Im so excited for you both ❤

Can’t believe it’s only 6 months away, it’s come round so fast. I’ve never been more jealous that you’re doing a world cruise. It’s going to be incredible. I spent 3 months in Australia back in 2019 and it was the best time of my life, you are going to love it. I love that you’ve planned your wedding for you and not what everyone thinks you should do. You might be 2 strangers on the internet to me but I’m so so happy for you both and can’t wait to see whatever you post ☺️

My Husband and I eloped in Orlando, we then had a wedding reception about 8 weeks later. And we called it our Wedding Reception and still did all the reception style things. We cut a cake, had a first dance etc etc.

Hello , Im so behind with your vlogs (work and new baby in the family has been priority) anyway firstly Im so proud that you and Benji have followed your hearts and doing what "you" want to do for your wedding. I only wished we had done this. We have very similar tastes and I love your bouquet ideas and the nortical boat pictures are so fun and appropriate for your day. The eye make up is stunning and I have no doubt you can achieve that look. You are naturally attractive so I do think less is more. Also love love love the pearly nail colour. I have said this so many times but this still feels so surreal- I used to watch your vlogs back in your flat and was 'around' when I saw you come back from your first date with Benji and then when you did your moving-in announcement. I am just so happy for you both! ❤

I am getting married June 2024 and can honestly say have been loving the planning and organising, everyone told me it would be so much stress but my fiancé and I have just been enjoying the journey ! I did the ears in Orlando. We got married on Paddlefish and I had custom wedding ears. Straight after the ceremony we got changed and went to MK ❤

We had a big wedding with all of our family and friends. We were both so relaxed on the day, it made it so special. We loved it. My best friend did a destination wedding with just her husband, she loved it. Each to their own. The marriage matters, not how you do it❤

You should call your party you have back home the “happily ever after party” ❤ doesn’t mention the birthday but is a nod to Disney and it being an “after party”

We eloped to Vegas with 5 close family this year while I was 7 months pregnant. It was in the gorgeous red rock canyon. We hardly did any traditions and the ceremony lasted 15 minutes.
My main wedding planning tip would be to not worry about all the little details. All that matters is that your both together getting married in the setting that you want and focusing on the love you have for eachother. All the little details can add unnecessary pressure to be perfect and makes your to do list way to long. I pulled back on loads of things in the end because it got too much and kept it really simple.
Also, leave plenty of time between each thing in your wedding day timeline x

Hi Brogan, my husband and I did something similar 27 years ago. We wanted simple and only could get a week off from work together. Off to Hawaii we went. Marriage and honeymoon all in one.
My parents sent out an official announcement that we had been married and then included an invitation to attend a celebration in honor of the newlyweds.

Me and my gf aren't engaged yet but we've discussed the idea of engagement and marriage many times. We have a whole jar of coloured sea glass that we would like to use for our rings 💍 for when the time is right
Love your ideas!!! We got engaged in December, but with baby nearly here we decided to start planning the wedding just after. This was always the plan as we love the idea of our baby being at our wedding❤️
Like you we don’t want a huge wedding. We have a local registry office that’s actually in a hotel, so a small low key ceremony but somewhere nice for photos! And then we want to just have a party in the evening at a social club near our house with a hog roast and a dj for extra people not at the ceremony. You’ve got to do what’s right for you and it’ll be a day to remember ❤❤❤
When I got married we had our reception in the local coop hall my family had decorated it in my wedding colours of black white and silver omg it looked beautiful. You don’t have to go mad in spending for the one day but that doesn’t mean a wedding can’t be gorgeous on a budget.
So excited for you both! I had a small COVID wedding and then we did our big traditional reception on our first anniversary. On all our invites and signs we called it our "wedding celebration" I found that made the most sense for us and we were still able to have the custom things like signs/stationary that people get for their actual wedding days

We are getting married in April 2024 in Gretna Green with our close family then having a party at home a couple of weeks later to celebrate 💍 We really considered a big wedding but it was causing me so much stress and I feel so much happier with it this way. Really enjoyed this video and it’s so nice to see other couples having non traditional weddings too!

Definitely wear the disney weddings ears and you could always bring a few small nautical decorations for your table when you have your wedding meal. Im so excited for you both. I loved this video Brogan, so so lovely and I felt excited for you hearing how excited you are. I had a small wedding and it was wonderful, 10 years ago now and my very favourite part of the day was saying my vows and hearing my husband say them to me. I was unfortunately very unwell suddenly at the time of my wedding so all of the things people usually tend to worry about didn’t matter to me at all I just wanted to be well and able to marry my love :) ❤ I look forward to more wedding updates along the way! I’m sure I said something similar on your first wedding video, but this resonates with me so much. My husband and I flew to vegas, just the two of us and it was so special. You have to do what is best for you as a couple. It’s the marriage, not the wedding, that’s important ❤
Also, I did my own make up and I loved that element of it, I felt like me much more!
Your wedding plans sound perfect to me, what a wonderful way to go into married life. I'm sure you will look absolutely gorgeous no matter what you decide Brogan. You can get roses here in March. David Austin Roses are really full and look beautiful with Eucalyptus leaves. Freesia's should also be in bloom and come in beautiful warm colours, smell heavenly too. Not sure where you are planning on visiting in Sydney but a water taxi to Watsons Bay and lunch at Doyles on the Beach is a lovely, indulgent day out. There's sand there to take pics as well :) As far as makeup, I think you do it so well yourself, I'm a makeup artist and always tells brides to do their makeup as light as possible with a few embellishments; shimmery shadow on the lid below the crease, and demi-lashes in the outer corners is usually enough. A signature perfume is always nice too, it helps you remember the day whenever you wear it again. Sorry for long message, I'm just so friggin' excited for you both!
O I do love watching your wedding videos. I have six days to go and getting quite excited. We have also got a wedding playlist on our spotify and now its the playlist for the car in the lead up and token kitchen disco. Can't wait to watch the vlogs in six months!

My oldest daughter's wedding is four weeks from TODAY!!! 😯🤗😯 She and her groom live about a thousand miles away, but are coming here to Savannah, Georgia to get married. The groom's mother and I both live here, so we're taking care of many of the details. 😊 We assembled many of the bouquets and boutonnieres this last week: SO fun!!! I'm also making the cake and cupcakes, plus two different kinds of.mints. BUSY month ahead!!! YES!!! Just an idea for a bouquet, you can get really beautiful artificial flowers. I had them for my wedding and it means you can keep it forever too 💕

I got married just over a year ago in a small, intimate barn venue with our nearest and dearest friends and family. Similar numbers to your wedding party! Our bridesmaids wore sage green and I had hints of blush pink in my flowers, with white roses and eucalyptus. We had a really informal day with our ceremony at 4pm. Me and my bridesmaids stayed in a hotel the night before and spent the morning/ early afternoon getting ready together which was so lovely and chilled. We had canapés and Pimms after our ceremony and then a BBQ in the evening. We cut a cake and had it for pudding and had a first dance but didn’t have any speeches (my husband and dad thanked everyone for coming and raised a toast to me/ us). It was the perfect day for us 🥰 I absolutely loved the wedding planning and feel really lucky that we didn’t feel stressed at all - just really blessed and happy to be embarking on a new chapter in our lives! We then had our honeymoon on P&O Azura on a Mediterranean cruise and spent our first anniversary on P&O Iona on a Norwegian Fjords cruise!
Sorry for the long comment but I would have loved to read about more informal ‘low key’ weddings when I was planning mine, as I knew I didn’t want anything big, or an expense that we would be paying for in years to come!

My Husband and I renewed on wedding vows on p&o Azura to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Our wedding planner was fantastic and organised everything for us onboard. We had such a lovely day. Looking forward to all your wedding prep videos. Xx

Lovely video ☺️👰🏻♀️ my friends got married in the Caribbean this year and then had a party in the UK earlier this summer. They had a sign saying “We’re married. Let’s celebrate!” Followed by the bride and groom’s names plus the date which looked lovely.

Re hair I was growing my hair but still would recommend getting a trim every 8-10 weeks it will grow stronger 😊
