This slowly becomes my all time favourite tune. I took a seminar about the spiritual tradition of Indian music and Dhrupad was one part of it. I am so glad I did it. Uday Bhawalkar is such a master, my Dhrupafd favourite so far. And the singing of Romina Lischka is just perfect, so perfect in not being perfect like the pop singers. Kind of innocent. The flute playing the melody, wow. The song and its vibe captures a beautiful feeling, a kind of child like wonder but somehow it has a melancholy to it that makes it resonate on a deeper level.
