      At one point he says that temptation made him sin. Temptation cannot not make you sin. But if and when you GIVE INTO THE TEMPTATION, then you cross the line and sin. But that is on YOU. What a cowardly cop out to blame temptation for HIS sins! How is that taking responsibility for his actions?

    I HAVE A FUNNY FEELING THAT IF THE SHOE WAS SWITCHED AND IT WAS HIS WIFE WHO CHEATED IN THE MARRIAGE- EVERY 'SAINT' IN HIS CHURCH WOULD BE YELLING: 'SLUT, THAT WHORE' THAT JEZEBEL' HOW COULD SHE HURT THE "MAN OF GOD" LIKE THAT?!!!! SHE WOULDN'T LIVE IT DOWN. SO WHY SHOULD HE? So, when MEN tell others to just 'lay off' Pastor Bryant b/c he apologized for his wrong- then I have just one thing to say to that.....would you MEN lay-off his wife if she was the one who was wayward. Nope! You would encourage him to get divorced and use a scripture like: "Remember when the king divorced Vansti and married Ester. Pastor Bryant man, leave that hoe and go find your queen Ester". Oh, yeah, his poor wife would be called a 'hoe' from every corner of the church, esp. the deacon and ministerial board. That's what would be said against his poor wife if she were the perpetrator in this story. So, like I say.....women get no slack, however he does b/c he's a man. And of course, he's apologizing- he's on camera. He's in the spotlight. But what about the many times he came home from whoring and showered, slid into bed beside his 'hurting' wife, and never said 'I'm sorry baby, I'll stop". But, b/c the camera's rolling and public' media has placed his infidelity on display, now he's repentant. Basically, b/c he has to. Politically speaking, repenting is just the' right' thing to do since everybody's watching!

    • @sweetsugar1014
      @sweetsugar1014 11 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Roosevelt Pope Aw, that's good Mr.Pope...you got SOMETHING out of my post (angry and bitter). Well, at least you're partly on track. Now, let's work with those two words shall we. Yep, I'm angry b/c men are handled/treated much different from women in the church. Men have a lot more linency.; women don't. I'm bitter b/c NO ONE cares do change that. Everybody just goes along with that program. One church I attended, the pastor was HIGHLY esteemed and 'anointed'. Well, one day he disfellowshipped a young lady b/c she was pregnant w/no husband. She left the church. Years later, it came out- HE was the father and he sent her away before she could have the baby and the church see some resemblance. However, looking back, when he disfellowshipped her- MOST of the church 'gawked' at her and avoided her- siting her as 'unsaved' and 'hypocrite'. But, when some found that it was the pastor- they just shook their heads, but remained loyal to that church. (We subscribe to the saying: 'Well, he's a man-he has NEEDS- but a woman doesn't get any 'EXCUSES'--instead, she's just a sneaky, unsaved, hypocritical whore in the church. Seen this type of thing often throughout the years, so now you tell me- wouldn't you be bitter or angry if you were a woman and see men go unpunished and 'EXCUSED'in many, many churches and the woman gets STONED.

      How many hours a day or week was he praying, after talking a lot the holy spirit gets very weakened. A prayer must be held alone with God after church service, It sounds VERY TECHNICAL AND IT ALMOST IS. That is the way the holy spirit works, because flesh pumps it out by time and actions especially TALKING. Prayer is the basis of anything in Christian life. I still remember 40 day pray and fast by a woman, who was praying for a husband, and guess what, she found one and never has been happier in her lifetime. Holy spirit can join two people, but you gotta keep praying, so the holy spirit keeps that connection between you too. Prayer is the basics. BACK2BASICS!

    I grew up going to church but no longer attend as an adult. I refuse to follow pastors who have no reverent fear of God and refuse to deal with leaders who have no understanding of the significant impact that their failures have on those who are seeking God. It's interesting that they can tell everybody else what's right but they themselves can't follow that path.

      sxyldy7 I still believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ and still follow Christianity. I simply don't believe I or anyone else should follow false teachers who, for the most part, have franchised religion to achieve their financial and personal goals. Pastors, priests, etc....have largely sold out for their 30 pieces of silver. They are clever with words, educated but have no wisdom, and puffed up and arrogant. I have neither time for them nor for their excuses. In the same way that no credible lawyer will go in front of the court and claim "well....I messed up on that case because the law isn't through with me yet", pastors should stop pretending they can't follow the teachings of God.

It is God whom says his people need a preacher sent for them to hear(understand)him Romans 10. that we must assemble together(the Church is the congregation) Hebrews 10. so allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to a Temple to Worship and fellowship under an anointed Pastor(Male only according to scriptures). No more excuses; All of the prophets,Kings,Even the Apostles had issues,yet followed and Matured in the Holy Spirit doing God's work as he refined them.

For sure God will forgive, but sin has to take its toll and give its due compensation...heart break, sorrow, spiritual death, etc. With that mentality, its like saying "lets keep sinning so God can keep blessing"-Sorry, ..read the scriptures.

Had my first.dyck at 16 while in HS from my 1st boyfriend also same age. In Fall of the next year, I went on a college tour at John Jay U, where I met the man I married three years later. I was 17, he was 20. We went on our first date, shared a first kiss. That was a Saturday night. He drove me home, I called the boyfriend and dumped him, no explanation. Did I handle it wrong? YEP! Do I regret it? NOPE! Fact remains, in 27 years of marriage, the only man I've opened my legs to, is my husband, I love him, more important I RESPECT him. Understand not all married people shit on their marriage. Reason why I don't have a shitload of lurid tales to tell is that I'm not that kind of woman. Dumping a boyfriend without notice is about the worst I've done.

Disloyal people are not fit to lead and preach out of a Bible that he himself doesn't even try to practice in his own life. He is a pastor who doesn't value and obey the sanctity of God and marriage, he is a hypocrite. He's fathered a child while he and his wife tried to reconcile, with a woman in his congregation. He's slept with many of the women in his church. No self control or decency, he is not fit to be a pastor of anything. How can you so called lead people to righteousness when you won't do right?

They are the ones who need the wake up call. Turn your back on GOD because your leader fell off the pedestal you put them on. Worshiping a created instead of the creator! We must forgive yes, be they have to be reproved and restored before stepping back up on the pulpit but people turn a blind eye to many of these pedophiles, effeminate, money swindling, whore mongering, prophelying, "men of God." We must expose the sin in love then they need to step down and let God heal, renew and restore them. You know in your heart if you are really ready to settle down or not. Why get married and you still wanna be a dog? oh I never thought my wife would leave. You should ask for the spirit of discernment instead of seeking out others to attack to fulfill your spiritual needs. This is why there are so many of us who are lost in this world. Let's admit that you had several extramarital affairs, including with an underage or barely of age parishioner, while at the same time your wife was pregnant with your twins. This girl was pregnant while your wife was pregnant. And then multiple affairs after the marriage. How do we expect to pastor families when you don't indeed prioritize your own family? Steps of accountability were missed. Sabbatical timing of a year was needed. But being in love with money and power, it was decided to press forward and forget about the importance of making the family whole. I hope that the crucial timing missed has not forever stunted the potential growth of your family and ministry. You must say I an sorry, apologize to your wife, the congregation and cyber congregation for your wrongs, in order to move forward. Then get the necessary individual and family therapy/counseling. I judge you NOT, because we have all sinned, but let's be truthful about our shortcomings, so that we can gain full deliverance and restoration. Said with love, my brother. Forever and always praying for you and your family!

      The only "weak flesh" are those fools who are still following behind this charlatan. How many times do you need to catch a thief "red handed" before you arrive at the conclusion, that this is a THIEF.

    We can not judge every pastors , elders & bishop. The word of God says who without sin throw the first stone. I am so glad that I don't depend on man for forgiveness. I thank God for working on me. Don't forget we have & still doing things that not of God. God accepted him back that's all that's matter. May God keep on blessing. God sees & hears & knows

    He truly never repented by purging and cleansing his heart of sin. A revolving door-sin, repent, confess cycle. He was a slave to sin before he was married, or else his issues he's experienced would never of occurred.

    I think his ministry ended,
    as far as I could understand
    he is divorced or physically separated
    and biblically speaking, he can't get married again.
    he fell into temptation being married let alone being single

      +Titus Nixon Say that brother. My husband and I left the church recently and when we left, IT WAS LIKE A BURDEN LIFTED OFF OF US!! It's all non-taxable business and they do NOT care about the people who give. They use the tithing scripture in Malachi to make people give tithes BUT it's UNBIBLICAL...unless the people start gardens and give a 10% of what they grow...THEN it's 50% biblical because those tithes from the garden goes to LEVITICAL PRIESTS and they are not that! My black people, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME OUT OF THE CHURCH

    • @titusnixon
      @titusnixon 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Damn brother that is on point. That my stance..he (the devil) give you the Bible to keep you forgiving him for the sins that he's still does today..so you wonder why I have no faith in that kinda bullshit..because your and my eyes are wild open...I had plenty of women that either let me go or don't want to deal with the truth...so be gone before I give in to that non sense....Peace bro.
