Men cheat because they want to cheat I'm 67 years old I'm tired people think they know people they need clean there own house before going someone else house this poeple problem even the Devil can stand in the pull pit my opinion I don't trust anyone now day my opinion
That was the one statements I don't agree with. First off, I'm a believer that for most humans, monogamy is NOT natural...especially for men who are natural hunters. "Practicing" monogamy pretty much means a trial and error with a woman of interest, but not a guarantee...especially if she happens to be the first woman he has a relationship with right out of being a playa. It's not realistic to expect a man to go from ho-to-husband overnight. Women romanticize the idea of it and get egos filled thinking they are the ones who turned their men around, but so often, it doesn't last a lifetime. The other part of that practiced monogamy is that a man sometimes expects one woman to satisfy his sexual appetite as previous have collectively. There is a difference between abstinence and celibacy. Abstinence is just forcing yourself to withdraw from sexual activity. If a man practices celibacy, he is on a deeper spiritual level with God to get the strength to withstand far beyond his own thinking and understanding. How many men deal with the frustrations of abstinence compared to welcoming the depths of celibacy? If monogamy were natural, there would never be any cheating and the struggle to "behave" would not be present. JMO
This is by far one of the most HONEST conversations I’ve ever heard. As a woman, we often don’t get to see men be this transparent or vulnerable. More conversations like this are needed both for men and women.
I completely agree with you. Truly respect the honesty, transparency and accountability expressed on this podcast. Please allow the conversations to continue.
This is just the watered down version for TH-cam. Trust me, if you hear it raw, you'll be frozen in your seat...angry, hurt, shocked and not wanting to believe what you hear.
You are absolutely right! Guess what though?? Aside from Biblical references, I have been saying what he's saying for YEARS and got shut down BY MEN! As a matter of fact, I just shared this video with a friend of mine who knows for a fact that I have been dropping these gems in deep conversations. However, I'm feeling a certain kind of way because every time I've said the same EXACT thing, I have gotten pushback as the "sista that's speaking for men again!". The defensiveness from men when they hear women make these statements is remarkable. Little do they know that I have been blessed to have had raw and candid conversations with male friends who were teaching me...not telling me what I wanted to hear. Huge difference. SOME of the things they share will make you take a swig of something stronger than wine, fo sho!!! LOL! I just wish men and women could have this same conversation without defensiveness and inflated egos in the room distracting from the learning process. I agree that this episode was one of the best because if there is any voice that needs to be heard, it is that of humble men who are ready to share truth and transparency. It's not for the weak on either end.
Great job gentlemen! I'm listening to this podcast as a 39 year old man in a beautiful 11 year marriage - and I still learn daily! There were gems dropped that add value to single men and those who are married. I love how Dr. Bryant shared that he is operating in grace but that favor trumps grace. And if he was married, that favor would propel him to even greater heights! #TeamMarriage

Today is September 19,2023...I am seriously Listening to the Conversation and I feel this is not only for the Man but it speaks to me as a Woman.. Thank you for having Pastor as a guests 🙏
What’s crazy is Dr Bryant has been popping up on my fyp and I REFUSED to watch, when my dad watches his sermons.. I’m like “ how could you take the guidance of a man who cheats on his wife and you’re a married man”… And that was before I developed my own intimate relationship with God and understanding. I’m very happy that I watched this conversation, and I love the accountability on his end.
This was a gamechanger for your show! Totally took the conversations and direction to a whole nother level! Thank God for men like Jamal who don't mind being transparent and sharing hard truths about himself and his own experiences and going deeper then surface level for our young men and womens! All Glory and honor to God!
This convo with PJB was 🔥🔥🔥. Much respect! I’ve not been a fan of Pastor Jamal, but I must admit the brotha dropped some gems and he was transparent enough to show us that pastoring is what he does, but it’s not all of who he is. He’s a fallible & fallen man like all of us & he has struggles and weaknesses. Good job men! Keep it up!!😎💯
Omg, when I say I have a newfound respect for Pastor Bryant. This, by far, was the most informative podcast show. I've seen. The things Pastor Bryant spoke on, Omg, our black men need to really heal, redo, and rethink when it comes to relationships. Thank you so much, Pastor Bryant, for the breakdown and the wisdom.
He gutted himself in this interview. This is a man that through his life experiences paid for that WISDOM. That was some BOUGHT SENSE HE gave us that was EXPENSIVE!!!!
Maaan, I've been watching this channel on and off for about a year; never subscribed. THIS was the best episode I've ever seen on the channel. PLEASE bring DR. JAMAL BRYANT back 🙏🏽 This was soooo good that I am about to watch it again!!! God, please let men live and operate in this wisdom. 🙏🏽 Because of this episode, I am finally going to subscribe‼️ EVERY single man needs to see this. ❤🙌🏽👏🏽 I was glued from start to finish!!
My 2023 major deposits are coming weekly from Pastor Jamal Bryant and the Hardly Initiated podcasts. Truly, you all are directing the Black community (men, women and children) back on the healthy family track God's way. You are providing healing, truth and vitally necessary insight. Thank you
I learned so much that i sent this to my 3 grandsons. They are ages 29, 28, and 25 and they have no clue as to what they are doing to themselves or the young women that they are dating. I thank God for this episode. ❤❤❤❤
When Pastor said the greatest gateway to sin is boredom, I felt that. As a woman, I've always felt that if my man isnt challenging me, holding me accountable for my shortcomings or having transparent and honest communication with me - i instantly become bored. I have to remember most people, (not even just men) have a hard time with that level of openness. Keeping myself busy by focusing on my own personal goals and aspirations have helped me combat boredom but if I'm being honest, it can be a challenge. In most cases, one person is always further along in their personal development. It takes a different type of love to have the patience and the understanding to completed this. For me, this is where having a solid foundation as friends come into play. When you have that solid foundation to your relationship, it becomes easier to allow your partner to grow without the boredom kicking in. Great conversation family ❤️
Which person is the one who is furthest in their personal development? The one who does not actively challenge the other person? Or the one who often gets bored? Or none of the above? I’m just curious as this is an interesting conversation
@@tchoopee5143 This is such a great question!! To answer this, I believe that it is not a matter of who is further along at that point, but recognizing that growth is continuous and that in a union each individual must take responsibility for their own actions and ask themselves the hard questions such as "Why am I bored? What's the trigger within myself that's keeping me bored? How can I communicate this with my partner and work on this so that we both can grow?" If the partnership is worth the investment, we must communicate and be patient throughout the growing process. It's a never ending one, but growing and shifting through each transformation within our relationships is what makes the connection worthy and valuable. Thank you so much for challenging this perspective ❤️✨
What's sold me on this interview was the fact that many of the points he made I concluded on my own just observing the behaviors of men. But to have him confirm it as a MAN and then as a pastor he did what most pastors do NOT do and that is he was TRANSPARENT, displayed his humanity, and owned the errors from his past and did so with real empathy. NO and I mean NO men out here are keeping it THIS REAL. I don't care what Dr Jamal's were in his past he clearly has transformed and has been made new again. Kudos Master Teacher...Kudos to the podcasts hosts for sharing this platform. Its sooo so needed💯🎯💯
PS Pastor Bryant I had never been judgmental of you no matter what anyone said about you but this is the first time I sit still and listen to what you say and it's a blessing so from this point I see your realness stay on this path because so many young men have not been taught this part of manhood
That’s my Pastor!!! 👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I never miss a Sunday! Pastor Bryant Always keeps it Authentic! I love how he takes accountability about his cheating many men can learn from this! His level of knowledge and openness has made him one of the best in preaching and teaching! Lessons Learned!! We need a Part 2 !!!!
Amazing conversation! We NEED more from Pastor Bryant. His honesty is so appreciated, and his point of view was delivered in the best way ever told/heard
Just heard another Pastor speak on commitment this week. This is so encouraging to hear twice from a male in a position of leadership shepherding a flock. You know you are committed when you make up your mind that there is no other choice; there is no plan B.
Me and my youngest son always had the most admiration for this Pastor since the early 2000's when we came across his sermons on The Word Network channel.
This conversation blessed my life! As a woman I truly got some great takeaways from Dr. Bryant that help me understand how men think and process! I love Dr. Bryant’s transparency! Best show ever!!!
Amen, weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.!!! To be sober and focused, accountable are moral standards that need to be taught. I appreciate this Pastor!!! Bring him back, I will listen.
This was so insightful, especially the part about closure for men. What he said about convenience and toleration blew my mind. It all was so deep and answered several questions I have had for at least 20 years. Practice monogamy by not having options, be all the way in... So much y'all. Thank you Pastor
Pastor Dr Jamal Bryant has always been one of my faves when it comes to talking about black love and relationships. I love how he holds the men accountable but volunteers his own missteps for them to learn from. Great guest, great conversation
But, do you share that same love when a Man holds women accountable as well? See men don’t have issues w/ people holding us accountable because we use to it. However, in the black community, a current issue is nobody can hold Bw accountable.
Accountability is not a black woman issue it’s a human issue. What we are witnessing in this world today is BOTH men and woman that have trouble being held accountable. But this goes back to the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve both fell but neither took accountability. Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent. But just because some or even many have trouble being held accountable doesn’t mean all. I’m a black woman and my pet peeve is people not taking accountability for their actions. I hold myself to the standard that was written out in the Bible by God and and lived out through Jesus Christ my Lord. May I ask how can you assume by her statement that this lady doesn’t have the same energy when women are being called to task? I know a lot of us have been hurt but when are we going to stop trying to accuse one another but instead try to understand one another? It’s sad to see the battle of the sexes because it’s nothing but a tactic from the enemy to keep us divided because he knows the power that we possess when come together. Like the scripture says a house divided can’t not stand.
@@HisGraceIsSufficient555 accountability isn’t an issue w/ men because we get held accountable regardless if we like it or not. If bm commit a crime, we go to jail. If bm don’t take care of kids we get put on child support. If bm don’t work, we end up homeless. Women in 2023, aren’t held accountable because either they get bailed out of their situation or someone makes an excuse for their actions. So, from my examples please explain to me how men & women are equally held accountable? If a relationship ends, the man gets blamed for the demise!
@@BjtheLawyer_dealing with consequences doesn't equate to a person taking accountability for their actions that lead to said consequences. lol.. go to any jail, and most will say they didn't do it and/or blame someone else..
I know I'm late seeing this but this level of honesty and accountability is for men AND women. It's give me much to consider. I appreciate the vulnerability and conversation.
I'm a woman, but this podcast has been a blessing to me! Thank you pastor for your transparency and accountability. Thank you Hardly for continuing to bring great content.
Damn! As a wife, I am convicted to lift my husband up and give him encouragement and support to do what he does for this family. I know I add value, and I also know I am the key to his well-being. I have to be grounded to make sure he is grounded. Thank you, Pastor Bryant from Mrs. Bryant (my husband is a Bryant, no relation).
Awesome Awesome interview with Dr. Jamal. I wish it was a longer interview since I feel like more black men in our community who might have undergone fidelity need to hear this message.
As a SINGLE, DIVORCED WOMAN, this episode was very enlightening for me! Now I have the tools to understand what is really happening with our black men these days. I must the admit, the dating pool is a little tainted but this could be from a lack of knowledge and information within our black community. Unhealed traumas/hurts and the inability to be accountable within our black community were a few things that were eye opening for me. Pastor Bryant really broke it down! I have encountered so many things while dating that has made to want to be complacent with my singleness. Not being willing to compromise my values and sugarcoat with my partner were issues in my past relationships. Now I know that when a man is truly committed, he will do the work…everything else is an excuse and the inability to be accountable for himself. I throughly enjoyed this conversation!
An amazing interview full of truths, honesty and what no one else has ever admitted. This the real man on the inside that needs to be honest with himself. BRAVO. And i have critiqued him harshly .
Pastor Bryant brought the word and we weren't even in church. I'm so glad he kept it 1000% real and didn't mince words. He is such a great teacher. Please invite him back, fast!🎉❤
This was an amazing interview. If accountability, honesty, being present, and having self control was a person it's Pastor Bryant. I'm happy to see this today.
This is so, so refreshing guys. Thank you Pastor Bryant. I see a brand new wholesome man in Pastor Bryant, and his outlook Christianity and Christian Marriage is on a whole new level. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. No promises but I might be joining this channel in future ❤❤❤❤❤
Whew this was a good one!! So much truth, accountability and ah ha moments for the guys! Love to see this! Bust open the Lies and the gaslighting Pastor Bryant!
You brothers are on another level. The conversations you all have and your choice of guests are so well balanced with real solutions! Keep up the good work guys! 🙏🏽
Please bring back the Pastor for Episode #2. I have listened to this for the second time. I sent this message to my friend and he was so appreciative also to hear that as a Woman I learned so much from the Episode myself. Thank you 🙏.
I've never watched this show but because I follow the pastor ,I tuned in. The absolute best interview I've heard this year. As a woman I've gained much clarity to understand why my past relationships and marriage have failed. Gratefully made aware and thankful for posting this kind of conversation fellas. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The Pastors at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church are on fire!!! I love the episodes with both of my Pastors...Dr. Bryant and Dr. Karri! I love all of the guests, but these are my favorites! I'm not biased. Well...maybe a little. Much NEEDED!! ❤🙏🏽🙌🏽
U must go through it in order to pull someone out. This man has been through it, done it and none is authentic in his story. He can pull someone else out of what he’s been through. God is always faithful. Blessings pastor J. Bryant.
This conversation is on another level . The transparency, vulnerability and teaching was top tier. Wow. The part about your taught how to holla at the girl but not leave was 😳💯

This was a gamechanger for your show! Totally took the conversations and direction to a whole nother level! Thank God for men like Jamal who don't mind being transparent and sharing hard truths about himself and his own experiences and going deeper then surface level for our young men and womens! All Glory and honor to God!
This was INCREDIBLE!!! If I had a son, I would show this to him
Please share! We appreciate you
Dr Jamal has such a brilliant mind! The man is filled with so much wisdom and he’s so self aware - an unexamined life is not worth living
@@BerachahJudah💯 Amen
Sent it to my 17yr old right away
@@shamgod3003 I shared with my son 💙 10/15/24 8:30am
This convo with PJB was 🔥🔥🔥. Much respect! I’ve not been a fan of Pastor Jamal, but I must admit the brotha dropped some gems and he was transparent enough to show us that pastoring is what he does, but it’s not all of who he is. He’s a fallible & fallen man like all of us & he has struggles and weaknesses. Good job men! Keep it up!!😎💯
Single-handedly the most gems I’ve heard in one sitting. At a point I had to turn to my pet and ask her “did you hear that?!” Good stuff 🔥
😅😂❤
Awww ❤
Thank you
Thank you, Antoinette!
How can I communicate this with my partner and work on this so that we both can grow?"
If the partnership is worth the investment, we must communicate and be patient throughout the growing process. It's a never ending one, but growing and shifting through each transformation within our relationships is what makes the connection worthy and valuable.
Thank you so much for challenging this perspective ❤️✨
I truly appreciate Dr. Bryant’s full transparency on this topic 💯
He is not lying.
Amazing conversation! We NEED more from Pastor Bryant. His honesty is so appreciated, and his point of view was delivered in the best way ever told/heard
This entire interview was a MASTERCLASS 💯💎
🗣️@ 59 yrs young…I ❤️ this real talk by a real man…I pray old school og’s listen and learn something from this young man…💯🎯
Just heard another Pastor speak on commitment this week.
Okay y’all I’m going to give this a 10+ they touched on everything that a woman always wondered and questioned! Thank you!
This literally made me respect him so much more. The level of accountability, unmatched!
Great show, he is really putting out the education, knowledge and solution to a monogamous relationship..
Thank you Dr. Bryant for illustrating healthy accountability 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
A great listen. I was skeptical but his personal accountability was amazing and I appreciate it so much.
I have NEVER heard or enjoyed Pastor Jamal Bryant like this EVER before!!! Awesome conversation!!!!
@@BjtheLawyer_and women are supposed to get bailed out. It's a double standard that works in our favor. GET OVER IT!!
This is the BEST message I’ve ever heard Dr. Bryant speak!!! Honesty can’t be beat!!! Thank you!!!!! 🎉
I second that❤
This has been such a powerful episode, so much truth and honesty all wrapped in one.
This is a powerful episode for men. I immediately sent it to my friend who is a man. Sometimes men really need to hear from men.
Every black man and woman needs to hear this!!! Jamal Bryant!
Awesome Awesome interview with Dr. Jamal. I wish it was a longer interview since I feel like more black men in our community who might have undergone fidelity need to hear this message.
OMG, this is the best episode ever! I watched the whole episode. As a Christian woman it was so candid and raw! Thanks Guys!
Wow...Another one 💥💯. This was a powerful message! Hardly Initiated's platform will heal our community! Thanks again ❤🖤✊🏽
Conviction at its fullest over here!! Thankful for this interview!

So good! More please with Dr. Jamal. He has clearly learned, grown and become wise as a result of his own past mistakes and experiences.
Thank you Pastor Jamal for this Breakdown.🙌🏽🙌🏽
Please share !! Thanks for tuning in.
Amazing…informative…action driven…accountability and transparency…AMAZING INTERVIEW ‼️
This was an incredible show with Dr. Jamal Bryant. You young brothers keep up the great work!
U must go through it in order to pull someone out. This man has been through it, done it and none is authentic in his story. He can pull someone else out of what he’s been through. God is always faithful. Blessings pastor J. Bryant.
This was incredible guys what a show! Made me talk to my mom about the “favor factor” a wife brings so dope please have Dr Bryant back
