I learned that over 20 years ago when this preacher in Portland, Oregon tried to make sexual advances toward me. I was a teenager (but not a minor) when he first approached me. It took him about a year and a half before he did so. He tried to groom me in to making me think he was so concern for my soul and my spiritual well-being. He would always tell me how feminine i was because I didn’t sit a certain way and was always groomed and smelling good. To him that was “effeminate” as he would say. When he couldn’t get me to move in with him so he could try whatever he felt he could, he told me that the “Holy Ghost” told him to cut me off. What these young men are saying lines up (almost exactly) to what that guy tried to do to me. However, there was no sexual intercourse of any kind. However, he did touch me several times inappropriately and tried to blame me for his flesh getting weak and that it was mutual. He always had teenage boys around him that were emotionally attached to them. Most of them were very nice boys. Some were feminine and some were not. This person is still pastoring and calls himself and apostle. Perhaps he has repented and gotten it right before God. But I still deal with this psychologically 20 years later to this day. I had to go to therapy a few years ago as a result. He was always telling me he loved me as if it were some type of spiritual thing. As a young man I did not understand what he was doing. Now, years later, I see what he was doing. He was very controlling, acted as if he was the most anointed person on earth and was always touching us on our heads. Even tried to snuggle up with us, making us think he was just a gentle affectionate man as Jesus was. It was a whole hot mess. I hope those young men are doing ok these days. I pray for healing!

You fight against the lie, by applying the word to your mind and meditation. Your testimony is being used. Your offense does not define who you are. What"s it is , is that people get thoughts that come to their minds and they except it as their own, and sometimes it really is not. But its the enemy trying to change who you really are. Long has his church members under a satanic spell and it needs to broken. Check the history of New Birth, in two different States, they shut him down, they had the good sense not to welcome him in their State and city.

I agree, but he shouldn’t have touched the other guy like that. I understand he was trying to explain how the pastor touched them, but you can’t just run up and touch a sexual abuse survivor like that. Especially if that’s how the abuser touched them? You can tell that the guy was uncomfortable.
The guy in the blue kept over talking the guy in the black. Every time he tried to speak, he kept cutting him off. I feel it is something truly wrong with him, & I 100% without a doubt feel that he was sexually abused (penetrated). I hope gets the help he deserves.

I also, am a victim of sexual abuse, it is so taboo in the black culture, where it seema they believe black men, a d women cannot sexual abuse children, it happens especially in my family. My older sister, my cousin, and my sister's that was abused by this Uncle her daughter was abused by him also. This man is still around, for my mom's sake, and family nothing has been said. My daughter has never been in a room alone with this man ever. I trust God, and my kids, and my siblings, and a few friends other then that no one.
Nothing wrong with the guy in blue....he has just completely opened his mind,body and soul to what happened to him and has, studied a lot about abuser/victim relationships, accepted what happened to him and forgiven himself. The reason why people find him odd is his openness to what happened to him, which is something considered a TABOO or weakness (especially for men). On the contrary it seems like he received plenty of good counseling and should be used as a model of recovery for other victims.
I agree with you. There are so many people who could relate to His message. I understood him because I respect his story and I can hear him. Judging eyes can't hear anything he's saying. But someone in need received it 100%

I agree he doesn't sound sick to me he has a deep level of awareness and some of it may be that he is coping but he sounds alot more honest and Has a better perception of what happened to him!

When i was around 23 years old there was a married man who told me that he loved me and he was my land lord. Sometimes that guy was always trying to touch me stuff like that, he told me that he loved me, trying to be my friend stuff like that. I told him hey sir i don't go that way and i love girls. I was very upset about that, i really can't blame these young man.

Spencer (guy with locs) was a cell phone kiosk rep at Costco when I worked there. Eddie came by often to check up on him. My coworker and I noticed how Spencer never gawked at attractive female customers like the other male employees did. I didn't know what was going on or who Eddie was at the time. I literally felt the darkest energy I ever felt in my life every time that man was present.
That's not surprising I remember watching eddie long on TV and everytime I saw him the hair on my arms would stand up and I would get a very bad vibe and this was way before his scandal happened and I didn't understand it at the time and now I know why

The saddest part of this, outside of the abuse and manipulation, is that you can tell that these young men sincerely loved this man and looked to him as a Father, even after he violated them. When I look at Eddie Long now, I see judgement all over him. But these poor young men probably don't even feel fully vindicated when they look at him, but sorrow and pity for him because they loved him as a Father. I hope before Long dies, he comes clean about the horrific things he did to them and offers them the apology they deserve. God doesn't sleep Eddie. You will not get away with what you did to them.

This happened to me also at 5 years old by my own father. Went through 15 years of serious recovery from this. Started at 30 yeRS OLD. WHAT THISYOUNG MAN SAID IS SO TRUE. WE ARE NEVER THE SAME. I TRUST NO ONE TO THIS DAY.

Dreambro1, you are minimizing the damage Eddie Long did to his victims. All you have to do is watch the guy in the blue tshirt to see the harm sexual abuse does. That is an angry, betrayed, hurt & damaged man. Eddie Long chose boys he could manipulate & then manipulated & betrayed them. He taught them all they were good for was sex, being used. In other words, he taught them they were worthless as human beings, that people who claim to love them would actually just want to use & betray them instead. That is a hard thing to go thru as an adult, then imagine having to survive that as a kid. How are they supposed to have healthy relationships, for example, when they both said what they learned about life is TRUST NO ONE. Guy on the right has that tattooed on his arm, that's how hard he learned that lesson. So it's got nothing to do with Eddie Long being famous, it's about how damaging sexual abuse is & how longterm the harm. Oh, & also what a hypocrite Eddie Long was, condemning gay people while all the while secretly targetting teenagers.

And it could have very well involved mainly touching, oral, etc., but it was not consensual. And very likely meant that it was not penetration; penis to butt, for example. Please look this stuff up online and understand more before judging.
Molestation is when it's fondling, dry humping, caressing, making out, sucking, jerking and even fingering. Basically everything except putting the penis in the vagina or butt.
Just buried my very best friend 3 days ago. He struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for more than 40 years, due to horrific sexual molestation as a young child. He overdosed. I despise child molesters, and I miss my friend so very much.

This is true, but we have to still tell our stories for ourselves, so the next young person can get the encouragement to tell the truth. Eventually, they will have to believe because it will then be many small voices speaking out loud.
I believe that it is very difficult for some people who have not been exploited and sexually violated to understand the various stages that an adult goes through after being sexually abused as a child. It takes a lot of resilience to live with sexual abuse, and to overcome the traumatic events. These two young men have shown great bravery by telling their story in front of people who may disbelieve them. I commend them, pray for their continual recovery.

These young men communicate so well and it's very admirable. I would say to them or anyone who has experienced this or any kind of abuse, you can renew your mind through the Word of God, regardless of how tragic your experience in life is. God can do that. Stay with it. Read the Word daily and let it wash your mind as it claims to do. My heart really goes out to them or anyone who has been violated in this way. It's very sad that Pastor Long wasn't able to confess the truth but I'm guessing he just couldn't do that because of his wife and children. It was far too much for him. But I feel sure he did repent to God. I think if he had confessed publicly he would have been healed physically of what he was struggling with medically. Young men, learn to see yourself as God does. Then you will know this wasn't about you but about someone else. That's the key. It wasn't about you. And don't focus on all you lost because that isn't what God speaks to His children. He said, "I will turn EVERYTHING for YOUR good." We cannot loose in life if we know God's Word and believe His promises. They will work for YOU!

They are unfortunately telling the truth. Back in 2007 I was on memorial Drive at the liquor store getting me a bottle of wine and a strange man jumps in my car. I was scared shitless. I hadn't had a chance to lock my door and start my car. He was much larger than me and truth be told I was paralyzed....I couldn't even scream and no one was out side to help me anyway because it was late. He was already drunk and ordered me to take him to the weekly hotel that was just down the road and he was ranting and and raving about some dude that had taken everything from him because he would not give in to his sexual advances. I didn't give a damn I just wanted him out of my car. But he just kept talking. Eventually, I I took note of what he was talking about because he said Eddie Longs name and I had just attended his church once with my aunt at her insisting(That was Before I finally figured out I'm definitely an atheist). Anyway, This guy used to be Eddie Longs Personal Trainer and apparently Eddie Long Had given him cars and all kinds of things and eventually wanted something else in exchange. This dude was not having it. So Eddie Long pulled the rug from up under this dude. Took the car, left him homeless and he ended up living in the weekly hotel on memorial. So he had no intentions of hurting me. Thank Goodness. I was lucky that night. I actually ended up sitting in the parking lot of the hotel talking to the guy cuz he was distraught...yeah Eddie Long was a Dirt Bag.

I really believe that Google and the government and the powers that be listen to what people say through their phones and then market things to them that they were talking about. That's the rejection from your absent parent resurfacing all over again. I'm glad the dude in the blue realizes that he will require counseling to move on, because he most certainly will. Even if he didn't penetrate one of these young men's bodies, he did spiritually rape them. God will deal with this situation accordingly. These dudes are hurting. Thank God, I have never experienced this, but I feel them. I really want to cry watching this.
