My collection used to be double in size. One day I purged all the games I had to "relearn" every time I wanted to play them. Having kids makes one really judicious with one's time 😂
Tidal Blades! We played this last week at 4P. I had only played solo or 2P before. I was considering selling it but my wife (not a gamer) really enjoyed it. I think the aesthetic was a big part for her. So, I kept it. And then one of my game group friends asked to play it. It was a BLAST at four players and has definitely reinvigorated my love for and desire to play it again. Really great game and solid production all around. Great inclusion on the list!
I knew War of the Ring would be on there! Got mine last year for Christmas but haven't gotten to play. I'll be happy to play once a year. Love the IP and I think I'll love the game
@@Gomolkus Pro tip, put all the components together when you pack it up, get's set up done in about 10 min (but it adds an extra 15 min to clean up when you're done)
I game that I have an unrequited love relationship with is Magic Realm. I have only played it a few times, and I have to realearn and teach it ever time.
A perhaps lesser-known little brother to Suburbia is a game called Subdivision. I picked up a copy maybe 6 months ago but have not played it yet. Looks to be a shorter, simpler game.
A Game of Thrones second edition. It used to hit the table frequently, especially during the early seasons of the series. Now, I can't even put together six willing players still interested in the theme.
Big games we need to re-learn to some extent when we get them to the table: War of the Ring, and also... Burncycle. Each play is getting is closer to not needing to re-check the rules, but still not getting to table enough.
