@@MotoJournoKris Just a TBR Turnout pipe and tune. This thing is loud! Stage 2, if you can call it that is next. I have to go with Harley SE parts and have them install if I want to keep warranty. SE parts are good, but not maximum performance. Might wait for S&S cam and related goodies. The 117 actually has excellent power as is. Has some tall gears, but it has the torque to pull them. Have a Z900 and Z900RS for messing around with. Definitely get some respect with the HD tho. LOL.
I just bought a 23 in black. Interesting the guy from the dealership said that when he creates the vin it will show the bike as a 24 model. It’s at the shop getting setup in the club style. Also going full SE stage 4. It’ll be my first time experiencing riding a HD and I can’t wait.
The MY (manufacturing year) can definitely differ from the model year, as often the bikes are produced in advance to launch early, which is reflected in all the official paperwork. Congrats on the new bike!
Thanks heaps for that complete review. I actually ride a ducati scrambler 1100, I guess the HD is not as good in the twisties, but you think it can still make it ? Thanks
It'll be very different to the Scrambler. If you just want to have fun, it's definitely capable. If you want similar corner speeds and clearance... probably not.
The seat is comfortable isn’t it? I have a ‘21 model FXLRS and still have the stock seat on it because until my wife is ready to get on the back I have no good reason to change it out. I find it very comfortable and I don’t understand why everyone immediately changes it out except for the style upgrade. If anyone does think it’s uncomfortable they need to spend a year on a stock iron 883! Now that’s an uncomfortable seat to say the least. Love my FXLRS!! Even the little bitty 114 version! 👍
Yep I found it a real standout honestly. A lot of bikes changing the seat would be a priority especially for longer distances, but I was really happy with the stocker on the Low Rider S.
You prefer the all analogue over the split design? I'm guessing the digital readout was just to fit more info in if I'm honest, as it can be pretty compact and multi-function.
@@MotoJournoKris First thing I installed on my FXD was an analog speedometer and tach (right there in the Harley catalog). I much prefer analog to a cluttered mess of unreadable LCD. Some makes have useable systems (Kawasaki, KTM) but analog is king imo.
@@MotoJournoKris I started out with hypo Japanese bikes. Really learned to ride by my tach. Have had 3 Harleys. Know I could ride "seat of the pants" on them but a good tach is like eye contact with the engine. And it can tell a rider a lot. Thanks for your reply. Your videos are top notch!
I like it, I won't be paying 30 grand for a bike any time soon however if I was it would be a tight race between this and the Indian chief Dark horse bobber 116
Great review! Just bought mine and taking delivery next week with the Vance and Hines twin slash slip-ons!! I’m so stoked!!! 🖤
Awesome and congrats, it'd sound amazing with the Vince & Hines!
Definitely one of the coolest looking bikes currently being made. So happy I have a black one just like it.
Wicked! Have you done any mods?

Yea the torque is awesome, but more is always better! Can always get a bit more adventurous with the mods once the warranty is over too. @@TrustyZ900

Thoroughly done review brother. Thanks
Cheers!
Cool looking machine! Nice review, thanks!
Thanks for watching, it's a wicked machine!

I prefer the single dial gauge to those on the ST. I'd ask a dealer about fitting an ST fairing to an S.
Definitely feels like it could be a genuine accessory option for those who want the additional wind protection for style or longer rides.

I have a 2023. It's an awesome bike!
I just ordered one as well! How tall are you and are you driving with mid or forward controls if I may ask?
Mid controls. I'm 168cm or 5'6" @@fabiomanazza2539
I love this motorbike❤
For 30 grand how about an analog speedometer and tach?

@@tomquinn607 All you really need is a speedo and fuel light really, plus I guess an odo is mandatory.
