  • I bought this Diamond selector II 2 to check if the stones in the ring I found earlier this were real and to test if this tester works well or not. Also I think I'm back to 100% now pretty much I'm sure I had penomia , it's been fairly hot and super muggy, and I just didn't need to be out in all that since my breathing wasn't the greatest. So I hope I can get back out there soon and find some more great stuff! Untill then I'm going to try and get some good shots of all the new feathered friends that are stpping by here now I've got the new feeder hanger up thanks for watching!!
Diamond selector II 2 for$8.29 guy who had them for $7.99 is sold out sorry

This will test the density of the rock ..if you google the list for density of gems or dimonds you will know if your rock or dimond match the results you get from this tester ..
before using it you have to do the following to know the density of your rock .
Step 1- weigh your rock and write the weigh down in grams .
Step 2- Prepare a glass full of water .
step 3- Place your cup over the scale and zero it .
Step 4- tie a string around your rock and dip it in the water but dont let it touch the bottom of the glass. write the number you get .
let say your first number foe example was 100 Grams and your 2nd number is 20 .
    devide 100 over 20 your density is 5 .
step 5- set your tester to only one bar and test the rock if it says 5 then you have confirmation of the density .
Step 6- Now look at the list you got from google for the various density of rocks and find what rock has a density of 5 ..Now you will know what kind of rock you have .
I hope this information will help people that find rocks and want to know what they are .❤❤❤❤

I believe this tester is mainly for diamond and moissanite. It will not indicate whether it is a sapphire, quartz or any other gem stone as it does not have a hardness reading. It not supposed to test for type of metal. When it touches a metal it give a continuous buzz.

@@ryderjss4302 if you're touching something that retracts heat than it will test like a real diamond, it's not a gold tester so it's only beeping because it retracted heat or it hit a metal object or something like that, I'm convinced that these diamond testers are a thing just for show and that it's not that accurate but that's just my opinion.

:( that stinks. I just got a metal detector to occupy time since the Coronavirus. I have only found some random metal, something that looks like a meteorite, an old metal toy car and one piece of jewelry that is a bangle bracelet. I looked it up & it was from the 40's. Sterling silver and gold vermeil leaf design. Ended up selling it online for $40. I hope I find more cuz I am FAR from paying off the cost of my machine 😂 Good luck to you! Hope you find treasures as well.

As far as I understand this tester works by measuring the thermal conductivity of the stones or gems you are testing. So the temperature of the air or gem will affect the readings. The scale on the back of the tester will show you what settings to place the tester on to compensate for this. Thanks again for watching!

You are talking about the people who may not know or think they have something more valuable than it is but you yourself are using a cheap tester to convince yourself that you have a real diamond. That tester may be able to tell you that you have a real diamond but it can also make you think that you have a diamond that really isn't. be careful and learn how to increase your chances at identifying what you have. practice a lot with known varieties of gems to see what the device is capable of.

Beryl and it's species types (Which includes emerald) are at a MOHS hardness of 7.5-8 which would show up on the devices bar that indicates the hardness scale of whichever you're testing.

i have a ring which only beeps red with the diamond tester when the tester is set to to all the green squares and four orange squares aka number 7 on the tester, does that mean its fake :D?
Anything under the green and and four squares it wont beep red.

If it beeps red, it's real. Just depends on how you calibrate it on the size of the diamond.

Diamond test açıklamalarınız, diamond sertlik ölçüm tekniğinin gereklerine uymuyor. !!!!!
