I see lots of questions about my bike, I did a bike check recently, which you can watch here and it should answer most of your questions. :) th-cam.com/video/pyMSxnLKebY/w-d-xo.html
Skills With Phil do you think that you would have killed this trail even harder if you would have been on a downhill bike? I am not far from there, I am in Charlotte, how do you think my '17 Trek EX8 would fair at this park? it's a trail bike, 130mm of travel.
Hi Casey. I have your same bike: the Trek Fuel Ex 8 since 2016, that's a great bike! I just changed the original fork (mine was a Fox 120mm travel) with a Rockshox Pike RC 150mm ;)
#followcamfriday by Nate Hills used to be what I looked foward to most on Friday, not anymore! Still a close second, but you are definitely my favorite TH-camr at this moment! Stay rad!
Hahahahah....@ 7:45...the dolphin sounds cracked me up, funny! Love the videos...I'm just getting kinda back into mtn biking...my neighbor and I dirt bike together and he saw my old hard tail collecting dust in the garage...so, I just bought his full sus bike and I added a dropper seat (game changer) and back to platform pedals...can't ride anywhere near your skill....but...keep making them....very inspiring!
I've seen a lot of MTB videos, either TH-cam, redbull or world cup dh but nothing I've seen shows the speed you guys go like this does! Amazing riding and top filming Phil :)
I can't wrap my head around how fast you went on the last run, specially on an unfamiliar trail. After the adjustment for it being on camera and the the Gimbal, that's just crazy!
Mars Hill! That's where I used to go to college in the late 90's! Last time I was on a MTB (till now) was when I crashed my Moab trying to jump the 5 super-wide steps on campus. Can't believe there is a bike park there of all places
Phil.... that was the sickest trail I've seen on y-tube this week..... and man... you have an Iron gut to hit that.... the unknown ! Great, great riding out of you. Just sick I tell you. lol
The main issue with this place is maintenance is hit or miss and the owners have burnt a few bridges in the MTB community. Otherwise, it's a cool place. Just make sure the day you sign up for (have to reserve your spot) is the day you want.
I can't tell you how badly I want sprag hubs. Dat price though! They sound (or don't, rather) awesome, I love the silence. Awesome trail here, looks like you had some fun!
Cool footage as always! They spent some money on those berms. I'm always amazed at how well you can boost the jumps even at moderate speeds. Pogo legs. :-)
It's funny you say that about dh bikes at Bailey. I've been 2 times now and both times have taken my 2015 27.5 fuel ex7. The down side is both times I have gone it was super dry and crazy bumpy.
Man i am jonesing for some bike park action. We still have several more months to go up here in the PNW. Also its interesting, your gopro gimbal seems to handle 180 degree berms much better then the other options out there but has a hard time with auto leveling. Anywho nice vid!
Awesome video Phil! You were crazy fast. Two questions for you: 1) how did the Calling hold out? Do tell us and 2) how many times did you get to go down those trails before filming? Keep them coming.
looks like you could make any bike work on that trail ;) Do you find that the Karma Grip drifts a lot? & what sound/mic setting are you using on this? Auto, stereo, or wind?
awesome ride! I'm looking to get my first MTB. I live in Western PA and will likely be riding a lot of the Pittsburgh trails etc. I come from a BMX background and want to get a bike that can handle some rough stuff, but has some of the BMX fun factor. currently looking at SC 5010 and Bronson, Yeti SB5... but this Evil Calling is really peaking my interest. I know every rider is different, but how are you digging the Calling?
Sick video Phil! Love your channel. I want to get a GoPro gimbal for mtb, but I'm not sure if I should get the Karma grip or a random Amazon one... Any suggestions? Thanks
Rad shit brother. You guys were flying on that final run. My favorite part for sure. I love the rocky stuff. Keep up the great content man. Also. How did you like the bike on that session?

I would not recommend a bike with less than 160mm of travel for this park.
MrSkindreads Thanks my dude, I thought it may be pretty sketch on a bike with as little travel as mine, especially weighing 220.

Damn dude. I regret leaving my long travel bike in NY... that gap jump at 3:55 was, dare I say, sick.
Seth's Bike Hacks Hi seth
Hi
The silence of your hub is badass!! Whole new dimension to the video
HOLY CANNOLI you are insane fast in those berm sections bro! Brraaaapppppppppppppp
The Singletrack Sampler isn’t braaaaaaaap a dirtbike thing cause that is the noise they make

that last run was terrifying - how did you NOT hit a tree!!!!
i agree i was in awe. wow! great vid Phil
was there even a track in that place?
#followcamfriday by Nate Hills used to be what I looked foward to most on Friday, not anymore! Still a close second, but you are definitely my favorite TH-camr at this moment! Stay rad!
Mr.Moonboy Nate Hills videos are dope! I enjoy sitting back and watching them
That was just insane. My brain just can't process what's coming at those speeds. Seriously awesome!
Hahahahah....@ 7:45...the dolphin sounds cracked me up, funny!

The confidence you have in your tires! I tried to trust them once and boom, face plant in the dirt. Brand new minions and high rollers too!
5:37 Mid air spit, that's how you know you are a real g
hahaha yeah right
Wow... those trails!!!! That last run was insane. I love how quiet your bike is. It's like flying.
Phil, love the vid.. I was smiling from ear to ear watching you ride some of that excellent terrain.. You certainly can shred..... Thanks
Thanks for sharing Phil! Good stuff as always man. Those hubs are sick! Really like hearing the trail with no hub noise.
had fun running laps with u phil. Always fun to see myself riding. 5:03
Dave Huffstetler dude!! thank you for showing us around. Those trails were dope, but my gimbal went derp for the first trail.
Bailey Bike Park was sooo flowy! Thanks for the shout out and the good times, Can't wait to come back out to the East Coast!
Holy crap Phil!! This is the best/fastest/technical trails I've seen you do. Many moment of butt clench, and thats way over here! NICE riding man
I can't wrap my head around how fast you went on the last run, specially on an unfamiliar trail. After the adjustment for it being on camera and the the Gimbal, that's just crazy!
You ride with so much energy. Great to watch!
Great job Phil! You were blasting down that trail.
Mars Hill! That's where I used to go to college in the late 90's! Last time I was on a MTB (till now) was when I crashed my Moab trying to jump the 5 super-wide steps on campus. Can't believe there is a bike park there of all places
Fuggin Crazy fast down those trails Phil! Yeeooo! Sick to watch, thanks! 🤘😎
This video is perfect my man ! Camera position is just perfect, you do really feel like riding, not too high, not too low.
@Skills With Phill I was so immersed in this video, you scared the hell out of me with that "new line" of yours at 3:15
Good stuff, Phil. That dolphin sound bite was hilarious.
You do a good job with these man, entertaining to watch!
Phil.... that was the sickest trail I've seen on y-tube this week..... and man... you have an Iron gut to hit that.... the unknown ! Great, great riding out of you. Just sick I tell you. lol
Siiiick spot. You guys were shredding so fast on that last trail. Crazy fast.
Great handling in the berms. Super nice. Enjoyed the video
awesome video, peeped before I head out there myself!
Sick indeed! Someday I'm going to get to this place! Thanks for another awesome Thrill Phil!
The main issue with this place is maintenance is hit or miss and the owners have burnt a few bridges in the MTB community. Otherwise, it's a cool place. Just make sure the day you sign up for (have to reserve your spot) is the day you want.
Noted ;)
That last trail had some gnar rock gardens. Arm pump for sure! The Evil took that park pretty well I might say.
Holy crap the run with the builder Isaac, dude is shredding!!
That was simply amazing
Yea Phil! Solid day at the park. Lets play bikes again soon. Maybe we can play with the trail bikes.
Yesss the first video i clicked on and i just got home from work
I can't tell you how badly I want sprag hubs. Dat price though! They sound (or don't, rather) awesome, I love the silence. Awesome trail here, looks like you had some fun!
Sick video Phil, truly pushing a trail bike to its limit.
That last one though! O_o
Sooooo smoothh!!! That dirt looks and sounds super nice!!
Cool footage as always! They spent some money on those berms. I'm always amazed at how well you can boost the jumps even at moderate speeds. Pogo legs. :-)
If a shorter travel bike can shred that Trail, the Evil can! That’s prob the best all in one frame there is! The designer of that frames a genius!
Wow. That last run you did was insane. I know the other guys was going faster, but holy crap...I couldn't keep up just sitting and watching.
As and XC rider my thoughts on every sec of this video: pls don't die pls don't die pls don't die
Smooth ride. Love how you killing it on your trail bike while lots of dh bike around. Soon Sack will be joining you I guess
Wow Phil, you're good at finding new lines without getting in trouble!!
Phil that was beast I'm gonna watch it again!
Wow, Phil. Any chance you might give a review on how you think The Calling went vs the DH bikes? You're a machine, mate. Great content!
Riding blind and absolutely smoking the trail👌🏽..
The 3rd run made it really obvious how the bike was limited.but you’re a good rider and you compensated for it.stay safe out there.
Dude! That was so fast and on the edge of out of control. I actually got a little scared watching it. Nice handling skills. :)
Phils lines > their lines...killing it man
It's funny you say that about dh bikes at Bailey. I've been 2 times now and both times have taken my 2015 27.5 fuel ex7. The down side is both times I have gone it was super dry and crazy bumpy.
That was nuts! You shoot great POV footage!
I am so glad I subscribed to this channel!!!
Sick! You guys were flying. I would have been in the hospital trying to ride like that.
Damn you're fast! This is a great video, really well done.
best pov footage on TH-cam imo
That was nuts! Gotta get there this summer
Man i am jonesing for some bike park action. We still have several more months to go up here in the PNW. Also its interesting, your gopro gimbal seems to handle 180 degree berms much better then the other options out there but has a hard time with auto leveling. Anywho nice vid!
awesome vid as usual. Keep it up I love em.
Sick riding as usual Phil 👌🏽🤙🏽
Hitting this up next weekend, been a couple years, wonder what it's like
That was so much fun to watch
Awesome video Phil! You were crazy fast. Two questions for you: 1) how did the Calling hold out? Do tell us and 2) how many times did you get to go down those trails before filming? Keep them coming.
Just saying your bike is sick!!!, perfect colour coordination
Awesome! Thats how to shred Baileys on a trail bike!
Great riding and video Phil.
6:23 spot is sick! looks super fast and rowdy!
That is an awesome trail at 7:23 !!
Now that's a trail, and I love the new bike
Thrills with Phil haha! That is a killer name.
Umm, didn't anyone tell you you're not suppose to be able to do that on a 130mm bike? Sick riding!
that was crazy, good work.
looks like you could make any bike work on that trail ;)
Do you find that the Karma Grip drifts a lot? & what sound/mic setting are you using on this? Auto, stereo, or wind?
Do a spring vs air suspension video
Phil, you are insanely fast! Wow!
Here four years later and they just closed down 😭
5:12 looks like the back wheel wasgone and rolling but it was just Phil's front wheel :3
Awesome video! How did those Nobl tr38 hold up? I heard some hard hits! how much pressure you running?
insane riding,awesome.
Dude, that was sick!
awesome ride! I'm looking to get my first MTB. If you're ever in the Charlotte area you should ride Sherman bike park!!!
Phil is getting ROOSTY AND BOOSTY
nice trail! nothing like this in wa state that I know of!? Looks like their a little slow for you phil, you almost hit them a few times..
When you ride as good as Phil, it doesn't matter what style of bike you have. All about your skill level.
Sick video Phil! Love your channel. I want to get a GoPro gimbal for mtb, but I'm not sure if I should get the Karma grip or a random Amazon one... Any suggestions? Thanks
Vita Vids the Evo SS seems to be the best overall at the moment.
BlindstuffMTB Thanks!
Vita Vids BKXC did a video on gimbals and the pros and cons to each. Check it out.
I can't believe its gone. Been waiting on my stumpy evo for like 6 months to go ride there and just missed it 😒
Looked like the Calling handled that most of that pretty well!
7:38 ... beware of Dolphins at the trail! Sounds like flipper😂
Phil are you going to race the nationals champs with the evil or you are going to get a dh bike? +Skills With Phil
The Karma Grip is smooth like butter.
0:24 Nice new clean gloves, ha
Hey Phil looks rad!! I was so wondering what kind of gloves those are? like how there's no strap and want a pair myself
Rad shit brother. You guys were flying on that final run. My favorite part for sure. I love the rocky stuff. Keep up the great content man. Also. How did you like the bike on that session?
still recovering from broken bones from a hard crash here, only 6 more weeks left!!!
Phil is easily the most pinned youtuber.
Phil - awesome riding. How wide do you like your bars?
Last run was nuts
