I have these koni's on eibach -30/35mm springs on my 3 MPS. I can only compare with stock shocks with the same springs or with standard springs. These koni's are stiff enough to handle short springs, a good compromise. I know that Koni have adjustable ones, maybe an upgrade compared to these, also to consider. Coilovers are banned here in France, you cannot pass the safety controls with it anymore...
Agree, it’s good compromise between comfort and performance. They’re starting to get a bit tougher on coilovers here in Australia, however not illegal at this stage.
I had Koni yellows with eibach lowering springs that have 200,000+ Miles on them. I've replace control arms and ball joints twice. But the Koni's have finally given up. Looking at a replacement. The Koni's were great just a bit expensive. I'm thinking of going with Bilsteins next
That’s a lot of miles you’ve put on the car! The bilsteins are a little harder to come by here in Australia, can usually find the Konis on discount somewhere making them a more affordable option.
I have the same set up Koni yellows and Eibach springs on my 09 Speed 3. I have run it since 2013 and now it has now 230k miles as well. My FSB is stock with Whitline endlinks and RSB is JBR torsion bar . As for chassis, I have Whiteline tower brace and Megan racing under chassis brace. I hope you like this setup- I am looking to switch to B16 Bilstein or ST XTA coil overs. Unfortunately my engine just let go and I just ordered a new long block from Mazda. I'm also running BNRs4 tuned by Justin.
So far so good, only about 1,000kms since everything’s was changed over but very happy with it. Good compromise between the oem suspension and coilovers.

That’s a lot of miles, you’ve done well to get that many out of the suspension and the motor!
I recently just purchased a bk mps. Planing on doing similar suspension mods. How’s your car holding up? How many kms does it have now?
