ABKD was created to promote self-acceptance, especially in the Philippines, where colonizers-mostly white-instilled the idea that having darker skin tones made someone inferior. The video highlights the indigenous Aeta tribe, who have dark skin and curly hair, as part of this message.
Alamat is a group on another level, but I also wanted you to react to another very good p-pop group called Vxon, I recommend starting with their first songs VXON 'The Beast' Official MV VXON 'P.S.' Official MV VXON 'FIYAAH' Official M/V VXON 'Luv Is' Official MV VXON 'Reach The Top' Dance Performance 🙏🏼❤️
I love your reaction can you react also their coke studio performance of kapit lang ALAMAT featuring DWTA and also their performance of LITRATO featuring thyro And also react to gayuma dance performance❤❤❤
if you want to hear Noli live, i recommend their Rappler live 10 months ago in Nov 2023 it's the last song they performed in Rappler live, thank you for your support on OPM and Alamat
FYI Noli is written by Mo, produced by Alamat and done in Tomas' house. The guitar solo at the end of Noli is done by R Ji. Galing has 2 meanings depending how it's use, it means either "so good" " excellent " or "from (where)" Dito means "here" so Galing Dito basically means from here or it is so good here (referring to the Philippines) , and you're right Galing Dito is an advert 😅
@@SisterzReactt 🤣 no worries. Nothing wrong with learning new things and sometimes not being accurate. That's how you learn! Keep up the great job ladies! 😊
You'll definitely learn how to say stuff if you watch their content, the members say "magiliw" about 10 times a minute lmao 2:08 It's the pre-colonial Tagalog script called baybayin! That's how the Tagalog wrote before the Spanish came, it's also been showcased in some of their videos. Thanks for appreciating Noli, it's the first song that was fully created by the members! 13:49 Yep, Chavacano is a Spanish-based creole spoken here in the Philippines. Also, ALAMAT's 'porque' is a cover of 'porque' by Maldita. Their cover is specifically meant to be 'lo-fi' or just background music while you're focused on something else, that's why it's a bit boring 16:20 Yeah, ABKD was their last song as an 8-member group. Kin left almost immediately after debuting, Valfer left shortly after ABKD's release and Gami followed about a month later. 2022 was a wild year. The group's anniversary's on Valentine's Day, 14th of February 17:50 I can't either, I just know it's Not Tagalog and Not Kapampangan because I can't understand a word hahaha But to demonstrate: English - What's your name? Tagalog - Ano ang pangalan mo? Ilocano - Anya ti nagan mo? Bisaya/Cebuano - Unsa imong ngalan? Kapampangan/Pampango - Nanu ing lagyu mu? Btw, you said all the language names just fine Jenae!

They sing in their own languages since they come from different provinces, each with a different mother tongue. As a result, they wouldn't understand one another if they only used their native languages, so they use Tagalog as their lingua franca. Mo, who is from Zambales, has Tagalog as his mother tongue, but the local language there is Sambal. In this song, he sang a phrase in Sambal. The last time I heard from him, he mentioned that he's studying the Sambal language to better represent his province.
Noli grew on me too. Its such a chill song.

18:44 Yes, in Tagalog, it's called Abakada, because traditional Tagalog doesn't include the letter 'C' or some other letters.
