he mentioned drone earlier, that could be it.
he doesn't fake it, he does it twice lol, bear grylls said this in an episode he was alone, he had to place the camera ahead, walk/climb back down, do it over just to get the footage of him doing it, so really it's twice as much work
so when he climbed those stairs and recorded him walking past the camera up those stairs, did he just walk up put the bmx on the ground and sprinted back to get the camera?

Firstly, as much as I'd love to hate on vlogging, your channel is exceptional.
With that said, I fully understand why you'd use the thumbnails you use, but quite honestly, have you checked the metrics on it? Does it actually show that those videos have attracted more viewers? Don't get me wrong, pretty women are lovely to look at, but it all just seems kinda cheesy, and your channel is anything but that, man.
Keep riding, keep up the good work, and don't feel like you need to rely on that kind of stuff. If anything, the lack of that sort of thing is what will differentiate you in the end.

so here’s how i ended up here: i was in my bed and i was like “i’m 14 and i’ve never learned how to ride a bike. i’m gonna watch some bike videos so that i can see how cool it is and how much i really want a bike.” i looked up riding a bike videos on youtube. every one was “learn how to ride a bike” and even though those were probably useful, this is the one i clicked on. i’m honestly so glad i did. i went in my moms room and told her about it because it was so suspenseful and this dude is so cool. exactly the video i needed. time to watch more of his videos :)!
