This is awesome. Got my 1050 & 1027 yesterday and just got everything hooked up this morning. I feel like someone turned my 2500 into a Subharmonicon! Have fun!
Hey thanks for the comment and the sub! Yeah, I’m so pumped on the 1050 and am still waiting for the 1027. Can’t wait to get my hands on one and complete my collection!
It can be used like a sequential switch of a mixer with a built in sequencer. It handles cv and audio signals as well. Def a fun module to experiment with.
Hell yeah, love this genre-style of synthesis - reminds me of the old Warp & early-00's liquid dnb/jungle pads days! Have you given the NLC version a try yet? That or the B version (+the 1027) with the 8-Bit Cypher might be right up your alley! (along with 100 other NLC modules, honestly... would make another solid dedicated rack! 😉)
I could totally see this being super cool over a dnb style drum break! I haven’t played my of the NLC modules but I’m familiar with them. Since this video I have a serge system as a companion to this and it’s quite the set up. I’m really happy with it! :)
No it’s several things. An oscillators modulated with S&H, a few oscillators to crest a drone then later some FM, another osc set up like a kick drum. The 1047 bring pinged by an LFO creating cool stutter sounds. Plaits is making just a chord drone that acts as the main tone. Also one out of the plaits is dry and the aux is going to a reverb with a noise signal
@@TheMachinesWon wow!! Thanks for the video. I’ve been inclining more towards ambient sounds with random notes. What modules from the 2500 series do you recommend for this?
@@carlosvarela3400 you’re welcome! I suggest the mix sequencer module, the 1047 filter for it’s ability to make nice spacious tones and the dual sample and hold module. If you already have some oscillators these will give you the 2500 sound and be geared towards randomness and ambient tones.
@@TheMachinesWon Aweome! I sold several and only kept Plaits and Tides from MI. Do you think the 1036 and 1050 would be a good addition? Thanks for your response appreciate your time.

Nice! Looking forward to getting some time with mine.
Thanks! I just got confirmation the 1027 is shipping too. Can’t wait to jam on that too 🤖
Yes, please more 2500 Conent
Thanks for checking it out! More videos this weekend!
Hm, a 24 HP Sequential Switch with Attenuators and own clock ?

Now somebody just needs to port/mock-up some panels in silver alu! 🤔

Is this only plaits running?
