Reminds me of my Dad's 1968 Fury II he bought new. Coming home from work, the drive shop fell of. It was still under warranty but the dealer said it would be 1-2 weeks before they could get the parts. Took the shaft a buddy who welded it. Except for a 1/4", all the weld was spiraled on the tube. Don't know how it lasted as long as it did.
@@cpcoark It's hard for me to see how it could hold together with so little. I've snapped ujoints with little 4 and 6 bangers. Twisted a driveshaft right in two with a 300i6. Then you see a shaft like this with basically 3 tack welds holding it together and 600+HP banging threw it and no problems, well till now. Lol
both A-Team and Airwolf themes have been bouncing around in my skull as well recently...

That white chevy sounded pretty wicked with the burnout. Driveshafts amaze me with the abuse they take
@@mikeduhm5325 Sure is an awesome truck! I cannot believe that driveshaft didn't break instantly with how little weld was holding the first time.
Could have dealt without minutes of Robert's ass on camera....lol!😂
@@eric9820 I think my channel is up to .001% female viewers. Gotta give her some eye candy now and then too! 🤣
