Can somebody set me straight or explain to me WHY I am wrong? This JUST MY OPINION,...BUT,....MY EYES are saying to me,....the current crop of bodybuilders are NO WHERE NEAR as CONDITIONED, DEFINED, STRIATED, ROCK HARD,...AND JUST VISUALLY IMPRESSIVE as RONNIE, and FLEX (LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF THEM), and ALSO SHAWN RAY (NO WHERE NEAR THIS MAN), and MANY OTHERS from the 80's, 90's and Early 2000s (the Golden Age of Bodybuiding,...in my humble opinion),...like, YATES, LEVERONE, GASPARI, etc. The ONLY EXCEPTION in my mind in the current crop of bodybuilders (based on THE EYE TEST,...WHAT I HAVE SEEN),...IS PEAK CONDITIONED,... Phil Heath (I have even heard Ronnie, and Yates say this),...and his Olympia runs are over now (he hasn't been the same since the abdominal tear. BUT AT HIS PEAK HE WAS A THROW BACK TO THE GOLDEN AGE OF Ronnie, Flex, Ray, Leverone, Yates etc.). Does anyone think I'm WRONG? And IF SO,...tell me why. Thanks. :-)

I'd currently rate nick above hunter honestly not hating on the guy but nick has been really insane recently
I think Arnold's will pretty much lay the foundation for what we'll see at the Olympia placing wise since they're only 2 weeks apart and their physiques won't change much. If Nick places top 3 at Arnold's, I can see him placing top 5 and definitely ahead of Labrada at the Olympia
@@dj_m19 definitely agree thing alot of guys are forgetting is that nick is trying to improve show to show also i think the upcoming show he looks much more conditioned than previous but we don't know if its going to be to extreme or not just yet
@@sandornagy3484 coming in as conditioned as he can possibly be is his best bet because there's bigger and far more pleasing physiques than his. His midsection and wonky legs hurt him a lot so he'll need something (conditioning) to neutralize that as much as possible. If not then I don't see him placing top 5-6 because of his structure
@@dj_m19 yea I'd rate top 5-10 for next 2 years I'd say then should start moving up a position or 2 as he gains more size and improves condoning even more

@@buee2277 definitely agree its really a comp for top 4 then the rest currently but the youngsters are obviously still young and don't have the density and muscle maturity these other guys do

Probably the peak of bodybuilding or the 90s. I hope we will see a similar rivalry building up again over the upcoming years
I'm not just saying this. I think this year's Olympia is going to be in contention for THE most competitive in history. This is going to be up there with the 1998 and others. There are some deadly competitors returning as well as some already deadly newcomers that are on or at least very near the same level as the long time competitors.
The biggest thing is that the Phil Heath era is over and now we can evolve into a more entertaining and competitive future of bodybuilding. The GUT is gone and now we will once again see a balance of size and conditioning (Hadi, Ramy, Curry, etc.).

Really not a fan of Rammy’s physique. I like him as a person just not too hip on his physique. He needs to really bring up his traps to fill in the space created by his wide clavicles, needs a lot more upper chest thickness and the glaring lack of calf development looks bad. I think his quads throw his whole physique off, they are way too big. So hammer your traps, upper chest and calves! Lay off your legs for a year and let your physique balance out. I just think the best body in the world should flow and have at least some aesthetics. Not look like a bunch of body parts thrown together. Just my opinion.
