I totally agree with ya mate! My friend who started in like season 2 keeps saying that the game is falling apart and that every new champion is an abomination. And I just think that's sad. I started playing 3 years ago and I love this game. I think the new stuff is generally fun. It keeps the game interesting. And the new champs are generally cool new additions, except for Yuumi. What the hell is Yuumi?! Obviously not every champ is for everyone, and getting pentakilled by a Samira because no one has cc for her, that's a pain. And having your favourite champ reworked can be sad (RIP full assassin one-shot Diana). But I like that they keep the game fresh and I think people should just stop whining for one second and just play the game they still obviously like to play very much.
I understand but I also think it's pretty disrespectful of you to ask veteran players to stop whinning. We whine because the game can be so much better and it used to be so much better. We dont complain about new things. No one complained when gnar was released or jhin despite the latter being absurdly broken at his release. People just didnt care since it was merely a numbers issue that we knew would be fixed. Old players started complaining when new "mechanics" that are insanely unfun and feels horrible to play against started coming out because we knew that there would be no going back. Riot games champ design and balance team are the most hated departments of that company for being incredibly egotistical they never acknowledge when they make mistakes and they never go back on them so when we see samira's W or yasuo's W or gwen's W or kled's dismount we know we're gonna have to suffer through those forever. The issue is never numbers because numbers can be fixed. The issue is getting killed by mechanics that have no counterplay.
That's not to say there's a numbers issue right now. Ofc damage is through the roof and everyone is getting oneshot by everyone but it's easily fixable. The only reason it hasnt been is because the balance team has a huge ego and don't listen to literally the entire playerbase. For your information the balance team consists of about 80% bronze mostly and silver players and the rest are gold with 1 or 2 diamond players. There's a video on it on youtube if you want proof just search the ranks of riot's balance team. As a GM on euw player I'm disappointed that these guys have more say on my gameplay than literally the entire playerbase.

Seriously they complain about everything thing the skins the champions the chromas the voicelines the buffs and nerfs in every patch it’s getting hella annoying
theyre not taking damage out, theyre giving some items damage and reducing the health on a lot of items so if anything it just makes lightweight bruisers less tanky but do more damage
they are basically making it so that you cant build 1 or 2 damage items and then full tank and still deal insane damage while not taking any. deaths dance was a huge reason for this as it made you nearly immortal to ad champs.i like that they lowered the bleed % and that they changed the healing part of it to incentivize more damage. the bleed is super broken when paired with more tank items since it reduces post mitigation damage. i dont have a problem with most of the changes tbh, except for the bork one. im still shocked they didnt nerf manamune as that is another huge reason for some of these bruisers to be able to do so much damage without building many damage items. in general every champ that builds manamune is strong as hell, so idk why its still not been nerfed

Manamune is interesting as I guess it doesnt really fit into some champs kits while others utilize it very well i dont think its anything special it just gives a nice item for those who need mana. I think if anything id just prefer every item to be tankier, like i saw a clip from nemesis' stream the other day where he was showing a clip of him playing veigar against an olaf a couple seasons ago where the olaf didnt completely just one shot him. Im interested to see how things go with the new changes and Im hoping that tri force actually becomes something that isnt only built because divine would be a terrible choice against a team. Hopefully we can go back to the days where its not just who can one shot who faster. Sure tank meta isnt that fun either but I think it would be nice to have a juggernaut like garen not instantly one shot you with Q E if you havent built armour and health.

@3:00: It's actually also pretty productive to trade w/ passive and 1 Q stack+Q off CD (the idea being that it lends itself to long trade/all-in pattern that's very dangerous for most opponents' trading on nado isn't as good at being translated into an all-in as after the initial knockup at the start of the trade you're not like to get it again before the fight is over during the early laning phase).
Corrupted is a good way to put it, i recently stopped playing for the outcome and its more refreshing if u treat the game as a game and approach ranked with an open mind to test strategies and learn, you climb easier, you improve, and you stop getting frustrated over things you cannot control, like enemy laners picks or how your teammates play, and instead get frustrated with yourself for wasting an ability or fighting a fight you werent supposed to fight.
I would appreciate it a lot if you could leave a link to these review games of the OP.GG so we can inspect some builds, was curious of the ekko build and what that player does usually but ima be honest mate I can't speak korean haha

I totally agree with you. I started playing League just a few months ago and I think its silly to complain so much about every champion released after 2014. I love so many of the cool new champions.
If you started playing a few months ago, then you aren't thousands of hours deep into grinding competitive skill (which is often undermined by new BS mechanics) and you aren't playing against players who are actually abusing the "broken" mechanics that veteran players complain about. No one is complaining that new champions are less "fun" in a non-competitive environment like normal games or low elo, they are complaining that the same set of champions have to be played against in a highly competitive environment. When some of these champions are abused to the maximum they result in really degenerate styles of play that aren't really that fun or interactive to play against. Also, riot can achieve a lot of the "coolness" of the champions just through visual and audio design, many mechanics of their kit are completely unnecessary (e.g. Akshan's revive)

I have no idea what is happening to me this season, in pre season i took your advice and tryharded, got a 70% win rate on kayn on 70 games and climbed to plat 2 which is my highest ever dropping very good games almost every game, then i took a vacation break, 2week-ish and now i cant drop a single good game and it makes me depressed
about that point of enjoyment, i quit in august and camr back just as preseason ended, havent had this much fun in league since i first started, its pretty good imo

I'm 100% sure league was waaaaay better in season 4. I loved the game just like I loved tennis, table tennis and other sports. League changed and I hate it now, and table tennis and tennis haven't had one single patch and I still looooove them :D

i'm playing since season 3 (technically 2) and i agree so much with You. i'd add that i played all moba games for at least 1 month (50-100 games) and lol, for too many reasons, is just the most fun one. the only thing i don't enjoy, in opposite to other MOBAs, is the adc role. in other mobas he isn't as team-depended, yet he is far from op. in hots they maybe even went too far, but it's so funny because in hots adc is usually the one with 5 dashes and assasins just have their stealth (again, usually). there is for example an adc that actually has 5 dashes while still having reasonable dmg and in game people still consider him not op, or even 'not viable'. i'd like to see that in lol someday, but the community would probably go crazy. even samira was considered too mobile when she came out after all... i feel like lol community (in the internet, not in game) just doesn't like changes and new, original champions... but in game i found hots to have the most toxic community, which is so ironic because it is the most teamwork-depended moba (i'd argue with that, but that's the most common opinion - that it's the most teamwork-depended)

I believe oldschool S01-05 players just get turned off by the high skillfloor nowadays. They liked the game where they were high diamond rank, and not low gold. A Silver 2 player nowadays might lack the macro, but is mechanically for sure as competent as S02 Diamonds/Plats. A Lee Insec used to be pro mechanics, nowadays you literally see Gold/Silver players pull it off consistently.
Maybe you should watch some montages, for example from Arkadata and see what he did over 5 years ago with that champ, that’s another league then Pizang who is a good player for sure but not really that mechanically

I believe oldschool S01-05 players just get turned off by the high skillfloor nowadays. They liked the game where they were high diamond rank, and not low gold.
A Silver 2 player nowadays might lack the macro, but is mechanically for sure as competent as S02 Diamonds/Plats.
A Lee Insec used to be pro mechanics, nowadays you literally see Gold/Silver players pull it off consistently.
