    I love seeing this mileage on this car. I have an 03 mustang gt I built a decade ago in high school still going strong and an 09 vette. They’re two cars I really want to keep for the long haul. You got a sub

    I can say his method on getting those shocks on it worked so well on my 89 mustang too, with the quad shock set up

    CRAZY! I think my quad shocks found a dumpster an hour after I finished installing my uppers and lowers. No use for them after ditching the oval rubber bushings in the OEM lowers.

    Question.. I just ordered a new set of these. These don’t “rebound” correct? Like spring back up if you press them down like a normal strut/shock?

  • @baghdadwarrior039

    I just ordered KYB excel g shocks and struts. I’m looking at quad shocks and was thinking kyb again. But I did see these bilsteins and although they cost a lot more, I think it would be worth it!

    Great Video, helped me replace my quads!! Also, nothing wrong with high mileage cars imo, what's the point in having them if you don't drive them right!? Show them love ❤️

    Love the video! Question, what is your favorite part of your mustang? Are there any quirks specific to your car? I’m curious of a car with that many miles!

    • @ReynoldsRides
      @ReynoldsRides  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My favorite part is that it’s so unique and has a really cool story. It doesn’t really have any quirks outside of the general SN95 Mustang quirks (video on that coming soon 😉). I do always have a little anxiety in the back of my mind when I drive it because of the miles (just worried the engine will blow up or something).

    Lot of miles and still running good. Impressive. Guessing you will notice the shocks most off the line rather than just cruising?

    Great video perfectly timed for me to find it! I am looking to replace the original quads on my 2001 Bullitt (original owner w/ only 135k on her). I'll most likely be using the Bilstein's as well (toying with idea of using Koni's, though) & will also replace my second set of Tokico shocks/struts with the Bilstein's or Koni. Are you still happy with them? I'm trying to keep my Bullitt as original as possible, but have been having problems with the clutch cable. So at that, I just ordered an original Ford (non-adjustable) clutch cable & the Ford Racing quadrant & firewall adjuster since I don't want to mess about with installing a NOS plastic quadrant. How has the clutch feel and action been for you since having those items installed?

I have 17 inch wheels with 245/45 tires and for some reason my tires rub on the inner fender well. Is this a common thing? Have you experienced this too?
