God has warned man against an unrighteous woman, she will bring nothing but destruction, she will be your downfall. Furthermore, he should have had faith in God, to seek God's presence constantly, seek God's will. This is however the same sin that man is guilty of to this day. Samson looked for purpose, his own worth elsewhere instead of God's Devine purpose for him. Seek first the will of God - that is what everyone must seek.
I have asked a question before, does a woman ask a man's hand in marriage? Or is it the other way around? So, I want to ask the men in general, seeing what is going on in the world, this is a woman's world, then why are we not asking God to choose wives for us? Do you remember what God said to King David, you took a man's wife, why did you not ask Me. Saith the Lord. We the men choose by sight, to our distraction. Then after the mess we blame the Lord. Then the sons of God took the daughters of man and God was angry. Samson is good example.

You know, Moses was able to liberate Israel but couldn't live to see the land of promise. Samson delievered the Israel from Phillistia empire but couldn't live to see the freedom. It means that when you obey God you will live to see the freedom like the rest.

In God's rule, man cannot succeed God. If man were to wage war, he would not be able to defeat Satan. How could he have the strength to fight it while still under its cover? How can man wage war against Satan? Satan will take you captive before you even begin. Human intelligence and wisdom cannot thwart Satan's methods, so how can he make war with it?) If, at that stage, God would only speak of prophecy, then a prophet or anyone with a gift might be found to take His place; if the prophecies are only spoken, man can stand before God. And so, He TAKES on the FLESH and DID the WORK and enabled SATAN'S COMPLETE SURRENDER. ☀️ At the TIME of the STARTING of the WORK in the LAST DAYS, if MAN is the DOER of this WORK, DECLARED DIRECTLY in these WORDS, then he WILL NOT be ABLE to TALK to them, and if the prophecy is revealed, then It has NO CAPACITY for HUMAN RULE. THROUGH the INCARNATION, GOD CAME to DEFEAT SATAN and enable his complete SURRENDER. He COMPLETELY DEFEATED SATAN, COMPLETELY CONQUERED MAN, and COMPLETELY GAINED MAN, and thus this PHASE of WORK WILL be COMPLETED, and VICTORY will be ACHIEVED. In God's rule, man cannot succeed God. Especially, the work for ushering in the time and launching the new work requires more of the personal practice of God Himself. Giving man revelation and giving him prophecy can be done by man, but if it is work that must be God's personal work, work of war between God Himself and Satan, then such work is cannot be performed by man. This true story shows how the enemy still works to take Christians down, people who God's chosen. It's often through the lust of the flesh, through sexual temptation, an enticing package. What I like about the story of Samson is it shows how merciful and forgiving our God is. Samson knew it was wrong to go into Delilah but he let his desires overpower him. There was very steep consequences in doing this, however God forgave him, and still used Samson to accomplish His purpose.
As this story teaches us,most of us seek the Lord only when we in trouble,when the going is good,we seem to forget Him 😥 but His word teaches us that He will never leave nor forsake us,God's love endours forever and forever,the glory belongs to God almighty 🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

This can be the same in our life now, some people wants to have relationship to unbelievers of God , then this will become destruction to your life .. and sometimes we choose our own path own desire but our desire and plan is not God's plan, but if our plans and desire are fits to God then God will not abandon us , He will deliver us from evil .. sometimes we believed to other people and we trusted them even they are not believers of God because we still doesn't thinking bad against them then we trapped to that, because they just used you for their own sake .. and then trying to break your life. actually it is written that Delilah herself taunted Samson. I understand we want to make our hero our hero, but I wish there be someone who will spend money to tell God's version of the story not their own.
Somebody said if! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽. Waaay too many liberties taken in this movie but I guess we can call it a “Samson inspired” Hollywood movie. Too many fundamental incompatibilities with the actual story that happened. That part where water just appeared to him after killing 1000 men had me. Samson asked God a quite strange question according to the Bible but here he just receives the water as his reward. Then him telling people to “Trust God”. Lol the Samson of the Bible tell anyone to trust God? Ah well. As the writer said, “visit many good books (and Bible inspired movies) but live in the Bible. Selah.
Yeah I had to look it up myself because the old 1940s version made Delilah more of a good guy too....gave her more love and morals to her character. In the Bible she is heartless, a total betrayer covert narcissist. Although that is sad...I do believe it's super important to tell the story like it is in the Bible word or word...because it's the truth and the truth is what sets us free. We may not like it but we need it. I honestly couldn't remember the end of the Samson story so when I read it (and she was just wicked and heartless) I wish they would just stick to her actual character being that way. Because it's what really happened...these aren't just fairy tales - they really happened. And those of us who can relate to real people that have done is dirty like that will heal (oddly enough) from hearing not only the TRUTH but our story told as well.
But not everything in this film is in line with the Bible, for example the death of Samson's wife which caused Samson to become angry and burn the fields of the Philistines. In fact, in the Bible it is said that this was all because Samson's father-in-law gave his wife to someone else to be his wife, then asked Samson/Samson to take his wife's sister to replace his wife who had been given away by his father-in-law to someone else. This is what made Samson very angry with his father-in-law which caused Samson to burn down the fields of the Philistines. This all happened starting from the Riddle which made Samson angry because his wife told the Riddle to the Philistines because of the Philistines' pressure on his wife. Because it was true that Samson only told his wife the answer to the riddle. This is what made Samson angry with his wife so that Samson left his wife temporarily. But when Samson returned, his wife had been handed over to someone else by his in-laws, because his in-laws thought that Samson was still angry with his wife and would not come back. But in this film the story is different and not completely in line with the Bible. For example, at the end of this film where Delilah dies, the Bible never mentions how Delilah died. Of this film, some are in line with the Bible and some are not in line with the Bible, but I still respect the people who made this film.🙏🙏😊😊

Read judges 13_16 for better and true version of samson story...this depicted some things and gave me clear insights of what bible explained but it was so altered and not so complete..as the birth of samson wasnt depicted
Even if Hundreds Of Thousands of Men or for that even If The Entire World's Populations is against Samson, Our Almighty God will see to that nothing can be Won over him. It may take days, Months or even Years but he will still have The Strength to go on until and unless everyone of them are Dead.

The problem is that Samson fell to the same befall of the sons of God from the lineage of Seth & Enos before the flood, as they took the daughters of ungodly men who turned their hearts from God and corrupted their lineage, who were once worshipers of God. His desire was towards his fleshly desires, towards the beautiful daughters of ungodly men, daughters who turned his heart from the very purpose God called him for & led to him to his final demise. It shows us how dangerous it is to be unequally yoke with the unbeliever. A woman is the weakness that man has fallen to from since the foundation of the world.

Never realised before. Samson like many other Old Testament characters, depicted the Story of Jesus. Jesus was whipped, humiliated yet brought down the powers of evil. In a short time, this world we live in will crumble. GUARANTEED.
Samson does not depict Jesus. Not all suffering depicts Jesus, please. Jesus was the sinless son of God who suffered for nothing but our own sins. Samson’s case was a simple reaping of what he sowed and a consequence for bad habits and dangerous pleasures which he had no hope for redemption BUT for the mercy of God who still used Samson in spite of. Please don’t compare Samson (or just anything that looks like suffering) to what Jesus went through and accomplished. May God continue to grant us understanding. Amen.
What i learn about this story when we disobey God bad things will happen to us , even to our family and we ask for forgiveness over and over but our human flesh still make us falter but God is willing and forgiving if we truly repent

This true story shows how the enemy still works to take Christians down, people who God's chosen. It's often through the lust of the flesh, through sexual temptation, an enticing package. What I like about the story of Samson is it shows how merciful and forgiving our God is. Samson knew it was wrong to go into Delilah but he let his desires overpower him. There was very steep consequences in doing this, however God forgave him, and still used Samson to accomplish His purpose.

This can be the same in our life now, some people wants to have relationship to unbelievers of God , then this will become destruction to your life .. and sometimes we choose our own path own desire but our desire and plan is not God's plan, but if our plans and desire are fits to God then God will not abandon us , He will deliver us from evil .. sometimes we believed to other people and we trusted them even they are not believers of God because we still doesn't thinking bad against them then we trapped to that, because they just used you for their own sake .. and then trying to break your life. Somebody said if! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽. Waaay too many liberties taken in this movie but I guess we can call it a “Samson inspired” Hollywood movie. Too many fundamental incompatibilities with the actual story that happened. That part where water just appeared to him after killing 1000 men had me. Samson asked God a quite strange question according to the Bible but here he just receives the water as his reward. Then him telling people to “Trust God”. Lol the Samson of the Bible tell anyone to trust God?
Ah well. As the writer said, “visit many good books (and Bible inspired movies) but live in the Bible. Selah.
Yeah I had to look it up myself because the old 1940s version made Delilah more of a good guy too....gave her more love and morals to her character. In the Bible she is heartless, a total betrayer covert narcissist.
Although that is sad...I do believe it's super important to tell the story like it is in the Bible word or word...because it's the truth and the truth is what sets us free. We may not like it but we need it. I honestly couldn't remember the end of the Samson story so when I read it (and she was just wicked and heartless) I wish they would just stick to her actual character being that way. Because it's what really happened...these aren't just fairy tales - they really happened. And those of us who can relate to real people that have done is dirty like that will heal (oddly enough) from hearing not only the TRUTH but our story told as well.
But not everything in this film is in line with the Bible, for example the death of Samson's wife which caused Samson to become angry and burn the fields of the Philistines. In fact, in the Bible it is said that this was all because Samson's father-in-law gave his wife to someone else to be his wife, then asked Samson/Samson to take his wife's sister to replace his wife who had been given away by his father-in-law to someone else. This is what made Samson very angry with his father-in-law which caused Samson to burn down the fields of the Philistines. This all happened starting from the Riddle which made Samson angry because his wife told the Riddle to the Philistines because of the Philistines' pressure on his wife. Because it was true that Samson only told his wife the answer to the riddle. This is what made Samson angry with his wife so that Samson left his wife temporarily. But when Samson returned, his wife had been handed over to someone else by his in-laws, because his in-laws thought that Samson was still angry with his wife and would not come back. But in this film the story is different and not completely in line with the Bible. For example, at the end of this film where Delilah dies, the Bible never mentions how Delilah died. Of this film, some are in line with the Bible and some are not in line with the Bible, but I still respect the people who made this film.🙏🙏😊😊

The Holy Spirit put it in my spirit I wanted to watch Samson and Delilah movie.
Read judges 13_16 for better and true version of samson story...this depicted some things and gave me clear insights of what bible explained but it was so altered and not so complete..as the birth of samson wasnt depicted

The problem is that Samson fell to the same befall of the sons of God from the lineage of Seth & Enos before the flood, as they took the daughters of ungodly men who turned their hearts from God and corrupted their lineage, who were once worshipers of God. His desire was towards his fleshly desires, towards the beautiful daughters of ungodly men, daughters who turned his heart from the very purpose God called him for & led to him to his final demise. It shows us how dangerous it is to be unequally yoke with the unbeliever. A woman is the weakness that man has fallen to from since the foundation of the world.

Never realised before. Samson like many other Old Testament characters, depicted the Story of Jesus. Jesus was whipped, humiliated yet brought down the powers of evil. In a short time, this world we live in will crumble. GUARANTEED.
Samson does not depict Jesus. Not all suffering depicts Jesus, please. Jesus was the sinless son of God who suffered for nothing but our own sins. Samson’s case was a simple reaping of what he sowed and a consequence for bad habits and dangerous pleasures which he had no hope for redemption BUT for the mercy of God who still used Samson in spite of.
Please don’t compare Samson (or just anything that looks like suffering) to what Jesus went through and accomplished.

Samson is the most misunderstood biblical character. He was created and called to be a Nazarite - dedicating to one thing in his life: being a type of Christ, along many lines such as miraculous birth, willingly be betrayed, death that destroys enemy, super power, intimacy (husband-wife /Christ-church), and the riddle (sweeter than honey stronger than lion) whose New Testament counterpart is mystery. Samson actually fulfilled his role and ended up on the faith hall of fame in Hebrew 11! I wish I can also make it there by God’s grace and say hi to Samson in tearing smiles.

If man were to wage war, he would not be able to defeat Satan. HOW CAN He HAVE the STRENGTH to FIGHT it WHILE STILL UNDER its COVERAGE? The MAN is in the MIDDLE: IF you TEND TOWARDS SATAN you are COUNTED to SATAN, BUT IF YOU PLEASE GOD you are COUNTED to GOD. 🛑🙏
If man were to replace God in the work of this war, would he be able to? If he did, couldn't he have died a long time ago? Could it be that he had already entered the world below? And so, man cannot replace God in His work, which means that man does not possess the spirit of God, and if you fight with Satan you will be able to defeat him. Man can only do certain things; can only attract some people, but he cannot take the place of God in the work of God Himself. HOW CAN MAN WAR AGAINST SATAN? You WILL be CAPTIVE by SATAN BEFORE you EVEN START. Only GOD Himself CAN WAR with SATAN, and on this basis man can obey God and obey Him. Only in this way can God gain man and escape Satan's bondage. What man can achieve with his wisdom, authority and abilities is too limited; he cannot make man whole, lead him, and, moreover, defeat Satan. HUMAN INTELLIGENCE and WISDOM CANNOT STOP SATAN'S METHODS, so HOW CAN HE WARRANT it? 🙏
