Although they put two biblical stories together, we need to see the power of God and how mankind is still today rejecting the love and mercy of God. Letting sin become their God instead of seeking the righteousness of God. Thank God for Jesus!! We must know and yield to God almighty. Creator of all things!! And honor him by obeying his word! GOD was disapointed in making us at one point and wanted to get rid of all of us.. but then saw Noah and his family and changed His mind, He only kept Noah and His family and got rid of the whole earth of very evil people. I read the book of revelation.. to see the horror for evil and good news for GOD's people... GOD's people will meet LORD JESUS in a air and He will take them into Heaven. What is so irritating to me is the fact that so many times when comments include the word God they don’t capitalize God. Sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? It’s just a letter of our alphabet. Show the reverence that God deserves. He is the almighty. When spelling He and Him it’s the same thing. The movie mixed two biblical stories which happened very differently in settings and characters. Could each of them be played separately to reflect the accuracy of the biblical narrative?

So if there was any flooding, it would have been a very localized event. DNA tracing does not link back to Noah and the boat would not have been seaworthy. The story is myth.

After watching the first scene…. I remember watching this movie before… Was entertaining and all…. But totally HOLLYWOOD…… Not based on history or the Holy Bible.. But, better than about 99% of the stuff put out there on film
"...this version, it is so good" Is it? A movie about Noah and his day also showing Lot and his wife living in Noah's time? And God discussing with Noah about the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah...but in Noah's day?? Lot wasn't even born in the time of Noah and the great earthwide deluge.. Lot & his wife (and Abraham & Sarah) were all born *centuries after* the Great Flood AND centuries after Noah had died (Noah lived another 350 years AFTER the Flood, on top of his already 600 years of age when the flood began). Also, the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah and their surrounding district weren't existing before the Great Flood occured. Abraham, who lived during the time of Sodom and Gomorrah (and who was the uncle of Lot), was a 6th or 7th great-grandson of Noah and was born multiple *centuries after* the great flood and after the death of Noah. Sorry, but as one commenter had already said: this movie is about as accurate as a chinese newspaper.

Oh my… I vaguely recalled that this version of the story was a mess, but not that it mixed up Noah’s story with Abraham’s so badly. Even Good Omens managed to get an ark scene that’s somehow more biblically accurate than this. 😅

So if there was any flooding, it would have been a very localized event. DNA tracing does not link back to Noah and the boat would not have been seaworthy. The story is myth.

And God discussing with Noah about the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah...but in Noah's day?? Lot wasn't even born in the time of Noah and the great earthwide deluge.. Lot & his wife (and Abraham & Sarah) were all born *centuries after* the Great Flood AND centuries after Noah had died (Noah lived another 350 years AFTER the Flood, on top of his already 600 years of age when the flood began).
Also, the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah and their surrounding district weren't existing before the Great Flood occured. Abraham, who lived during the time of Sodom and Gomorrah (and who was the uncle of Lot), was a 6th or 7th great-grandson of Noah and was born multiple *centuries after* the great flood and after the death of Noah.
Sorry, but as one commenter had already said: this movie is about as accurate as a chinese newspaper.
