Dustbowl used to have mega schools back in the 80's and we weren't much interested in them being more focused on the sucky waves of Salmon Hole , Rockpools and Daly's ... good to see fish still visit the beaches
Been subscribed for a while now. Me and my grandfather like watching your videos on the tv next to the fireplace when it's holiday and I go down to Adelaide in winter. Had a cracker session down at port norlunga. Big mixed bag. Southern blue spotted flat head salmon's trevallys toad fish gars leather jackets yellow eyed mullet and a tiny bream. Most species's I've ever got in one day. I would like to see more regular uploads but can't expect something I want all the time!.
Hey Alex. I am a long time bait fisherman from NZ and have reasonable luck fishing off beaches around South Aus most of the time. But I am quite new to fishing with lures and soft plastics. You guys seem to be reeling in quite fast, almost as fast as you can wind? Is that 'the' general technique? I tend to wind in slow/mid range speed assuming that would be a natural speed bt to be honest, I have no idea... I see the QLD guys are winding in fast and tugging very hard on the rods which to me seems too heavy handed. Am I seeing this correctly? Should I be tugging hard and winding fast with sof plastics and lures? Cheers mate, appreciate your videos
@@Alexsfishin there’s a certain ‘landing’ north of there. The far northern end can get good when small. Some interesting fishing options too. Beach and rock

Gorgeous part of SA
So Pristine!
Nice. Where did u end up surfing? Big enough for the Hole?
Just on the sand bar near the school. Was a nice left rolling through. Unfortunately not big enough for the hole that day.
