I havent watched this in awhile but why would you send a space ace to earth to fight...that's just bad commanding lol and again it has been awhile don't attack me if it's some obvious thing they explain
Because that's how it is in the Federation they don't specify what Type of Battlefield You Specialize in and Assume that if your an Ace, you must be Good in both Ground and Space. + Shiro Isnt even an Ace on Space only. Who told you that ?

He was never really a space ace really but more so all Federation pilots including him are meant to fight in both ground, sea and space which more so on the first early in the war. Shiro was only inexperienced initially because he never was on Earth before let alone the jungles of Southeast Asia but learned quickly to adapt to his surroundings.
