A big THANK YOU to all the first responders and good samaritans who helped and are still helping people all over the place. It shouldn't have taken the whole day to declare an emergency for SD, that is REALLY unsat.
you left out dry. lol Many thanks to all the city crews who are still cleaning up. I was driving today and saw the bathtub like rings as to how far water got up too. Think soladad mt. even though it is not raining still has not settled. on the 5freeway side.
San Diego has lots of hillside areas. These pocket areas always have issues with rain. They are located at the bottom of the hill with poor drainage systems. This year is the worst. But inland & surrounding areas no damages or flooding.
Those apartments next to the lifeguard station get flooded every time there's a major rain. A guy's Lambo was completely submerged in the parking garage a few years ago.
Insurance rate hikes not because of any natural disasters, it's to pay for all those damn insurance commercials flooding advertising tv/radio/billboards/newspapers

My home was flooded by a foot of water once, it sucks. Best of luck to these folks...
Stay strong & safe San Diego.

Hope everybody has flood insurance because Your insurance Company Won't pay a dime in claims if you don't have it.And that goes for a auto insurance.

My mother had a bar on Midway Drive that flooded in heavy rains about 1970 or so. I just remember all the mud we had to scrape off the floor.

Is San Diego is part of California 😊. I don’t see drought in California at all. I think is going to rain a lot from here in the golden state
Abbott and Santa Monica.

Hopefully the storm waters cleansed OB of the filth. That's why we always said, OB, where the debris meets the sea
