I don't care what she says, both her cars and most of the rest of those in the video are ruined beyond repair, whether they are electric or gas. The batteries on electric cars may be water proof but all of the other electrical components are not and those are extremely expensive to fix or replace. This lady's car was a piece of trash even before the flood so nothing has really changed. There will be lots of good body parts, wheels and tires available in salvage yards.

Houses will soon be 3 stories as the norm. Parking and utilities on the ground floor, living, kitchen and dining on the second floor, bedrooms on the third floor. Length and width of the structure will be about 30 x 30 to 40 x 40.

Well, I guess home values will plummet in San Diego CA now that certain areas are subject to flooding. Houses in San Diego were way over-priced thanks to greedy landlords and banks. Now the coastal city will be more in-lined with other coastal cities like in the south, especially Florida where the average house doesn't cost an arm and a leg to purchase. I moved from San Diego two years ago, back to Chicago (suburbs) but wanted to buy a home in San Diego-preferably in the Clairemont or Bay Ho area, maybe Linda Vista too, but it was just too expensive. I love San Diego and love the mostly yearly sunshine, but the greedy landlords, homeowners, banks etc. want you to "pay" exceedingly high prices just to enjoy the "sunshine". This epic flooding will now scale back the market to more reasonable prices. I am sorry for the people who will no doubt suffer a huge financial loss as they will never get anything remotely close to what they had to pay for property when/if they opt to sell. We will also see how insurance companies get out of paying claims on property, which will make prices drop even more. I pray for everyones recovery.

Usually, when one points to greed they point to the seller (AKA the fake term price gouging). Since the homeowners are the sellers and beneficiaries of the money, they gotta blame someone else (banks).

That's a huge misconception that lady's car is not okay! There's water in the battery and water in the electronics. If you really think that Chevrolet spent extra money to seal the electronics you're dead wrong the car is totaled and so is your husband's car. They cannot ever be driven

@@jg1469 I feel ya, i lived in OC my ex-husband and I had a 1200 SQ ft condo with an HOA of 270/month, two mortgages totalling 500k about and 500/mo taxes. Never again, I'm a CA refugee. We could hear our neighbor sneeze and talk. I encourage you to look elsewhere, friend. No time like to preset to make some moves. 😊
