    MOAR!! These are awesome to watch in the background while I'm studying or working, or in this current case.. packing for Grattan.
    Thanks for sharing!

    cool project to watch
    went through similar stuff getting my old sv650 ready for the track and made a video.
    thanks for posting!

    Nice project to watch. Its awesome that you can take a prestine stock bike and just upgrade it to a track/race bike in a matter of days. No expense spared. Your work on the bike is quite unceremonious and straight to the point - dropping that brand new spacer on the ground I'd be pissed off to myself if it were me hehe

      +PetarGavrailov haha, the bolt-on installs were just part of the build. Make sure to watch the Hindle exhaust install videos, 2WheelDynoWorks tune video, and the GP Suspension "How it's Made" video, linked in the description.

      @@irnieracing this is a drag racing build right?
      Did you modify the sprokets in any way?

    Nice video! For the clip ons it might be easier jus to pop off the upper triple. A little easier than pulling the wheel an dropping the forks

      +Patrick Bracelin . Interesting idea. I never thought of that. Depends if the wires for the ignition are long enough.

    • @pbracelin

      True, I've only really tried that with Japanese bikes. They move just enough to lift it out of the way. Love the upgrades you've done. I've ridden a stock s1000rr on the street a few times and couldn't believe how many electronics those bikes have. How many of the factory electronics do you have to bypass? Like I saw you had to bypass the kickstand but as far as traction control and abs or are you having it flashed for all those?

    • @irnieracing
      @irnieracing  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Patrick Bracelin With my 2012, I removed the ABS completely, and ran DTC off. We tuned with only a power-commander 5, and it worked great. With my 2015, I purchased the expensive RCK3 which gives fine adjustments of the DTC among other things, and we still used a PC5 to fine tune the fuel map. Now we use the DTC as it finally works for racing.

      +Marcel Irnie (Irnieracing) Nice! That's awesome. Have you had the 15 (neo) on the track yet an if so does it feel different in 'race mode' than the 12?

    just curious, how do you afford all of this?

    • @irnieracing
      @irnieracing  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +0991ekul Everything I do in life is for racing. I don't make much income, as I spend all my time editing these videos to promote myself and sponsors. Yes, I have sponsors, and fans who help make this possible. I also pay rent, and spend all my own money on racing. You got to be dedicated with low income.

    • @0991ekul
      @0991ekul 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marcel Irnie thats pretty cool then. how does one manage to get sponsored? was it when you started serious SS/SBK racing?

    • @irnieracing
      @irnieracing  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +0991ekul it's very difficult to get any sponsors that really matter. a la $$$

    • @galaxything
      @galaxything 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can't race with low income, even if you devote all that income. There is like £60,000 of bikes / parts etc here alone, then add up the cost of racing, travel, tyres, you are talking HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of $£$£$ Marcel isn't giving you the full story here.

  • @galaxything
    @galaxything 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Instead of undoing all the forks, why don't you just take the top clamp off to do the clip ons
