Searchman is my absolute most favourite Robot Master and I love his stage theme, but MM8 is severely unloved, meaning it's hard to find... pretty much anything as far as fanart and theme remixes go, so it's really nice to find stuff like this! It sounds so close to the original, but it's its own thing at the same time. I actually like it better than the original.
That fucking slide is single handedly the worst stage in all Mega man history the worst, it's not challenging, it's not fun, it's not fair, it's just a big pile of shit. Otherwise great game.

This sounds just fine and the part around 00:50 I've always loved and it has a much sharper, saw sound to it. Heck, I think Mega Man 8's soundtrack as a whole is outstanding. Excellent display of the fusion genre and electronic synths. Crazy good.

Exactly, no. But there are parts that do sound virtually identical. Like the xylophone sounding parts (the pink lines at 0:15) DO sound almost the same. But parts like 0:45 have a distinct difference. Honestly though I have no problems with it. If I like something it's usually cause of the way it is so in the case of remixes, less is more for me.
