I restarted the series with an updated mod list. Better mods = more fun. Also setting up in sanctuary means we can actually get things done.
There's a heap of awesome fallout 4 mods in here. Settlement attacks, multiple companions, weapon mods, armor mods.. Loads of neato stuff.
This playthrough takes Fallout 4, and adds a tonne of zombies. All while trying to keep a settlement alive.

it's the worst thing about this game. I am very discouraged uploading fallout videos because of this.

I Imagine the designers of the power armor would have a system in place ( for soldiers with the Hershey Squirts, latrine two-step) They would have some tank built in for that. "keep fighting soldier, Poop on your own time!"

I'm pretty sure one of the Enclave's power armour suits (I think the E-01 or E-02) had a system in place for that so have a fun fallout fact.
@@arkinferno7497X-01 is the prototype armor, but yes the Advanced Power Armor mark 1s and 2s have systems in place. Fairly certain the T-51 does aswell due to some side convos you can have with NPCs without opening the dialogue window (a child asks you if its annoying to use relieve yourself and the reply is something along the lines of “the suit takes care of it”)

@@CowboobsYTmy man what were you doing? The whole game is filled with lore. Marcy always a bitch because that’s how she grieves. Jun has lost any real will to do anything. Sturges was replaced by a synth to keep tabs on the minute men. Mama Murphy is a junkie psychic who can see through the future sometimes in cryptic manner. And Preston’s just trying to keep everyone alive.
@@Argyle117Hold up.. Sturges is a synth?? Hard to believe the institute would give enough of a crap about the minutemen to replace any one of them, lol. Crazy he’s a synth! Idk. Sturges is cool enough I still like him, synth or not! (I always give him patrolman glasses and the black vest outfit)

I did a similar play through a few years back with season 1. It’s refreshing to see someone else play this in a zombie apocalypse

@@antonderzauberer I was originally using Demo voicelines from TF2. Hence the 'Soup' quote. Then I remembered my friend JUSTT said yesterday that he was getting into voice acting. I was also shocked of the quality 😱

my guess is the power armor might just have enough air flow near the rear of the its user so they dont breath in their own farts. or they do hence why they need oxygen tanks XD

Just found this series, knew about SS2 but not the rest. This should hopefully scratch the itch until State of Decay 3 eventually releases. I'd give your setup a try but I'm guessing the FO4 "update" broke some or all of the mods.

Just starting the series, just curious if you run all three parts to the SS2 mod, as it takes up a lot of room in the load order that I don’t have.

Most annoying thing is that your mods have both .308 rounds and 7.62x51 NATO, which are actually the same calibre. You *should* have had a few hundred rounds for the m14, not 60
This is true. I fix this and refine mods in a later episode! I get rid of all the additional ammo types

Ah 5 months ago. Well I can definitely say there are some better gun mods, especially if your a gin guy like me. The M14 is great but sadly that particular mod doesn't do it well. I'd definitely recommend the, ppsh41, Fn fal, I've seen tou use the aug so that's cool. There's a mp5, g3, fn 2000, stg44, British sten gun, suomi kp 31. M1 garand, Thompson and and Thompson 1928, mac 11, uzie, tech9, vz 61 scorpion, akm that also has a TT-33, mosin nagant, lee enfield, glocks, 1911, single action army colt 45, Fg42, mg42, cz96, sks, famas, I just love guns and wish they could have just punt a bunch of goon ones in the vanilla game.
Complete forgot about the awesome Mp40, vss, and dp28 the Russian ww2 lmg.

I've always wanted a mod that makes power armor act like ACTUAL armor. Like instead of decreasing damage received it blocks damage completely until that part breaks. Is there a mod that does that?
i think they just recently made one like it, i heard about it somewhere on Tiktok, i couldnt tell you the name but i can say its out there

That would be cool. I really want durability back in the game but I wasn't a fan of the ones I found.
I wish i could use Sim Settlements, I love the mods idea. but one of the first quests breaks in the dozens of times ive tried the mod. I can't remember the exact quest but you follow the main guy of the mod into a building on the eastern side of concord and hes supposed to progress the quest after killing some ghouls. but it just breaks there and nothing ive read online has fixed it.
Have you anything that replaces ghouls?
That will mess it up. You can also use the ss2 holotape (not sure which one) to skip quest parts
@@CowboobsYT nothing that replaces ghouls. Only run mods to add more raider and gunner variety for enemies.
Ill have to try the holotape at some point. I dont think it was a thing when i last played.
This is probably the best way I e seen the game played, enjoying so far, 10 min in.

The best a worst mod for Fallout 4. There are showstopping bugs that prevented me from finishing all of the quest later in the game. 100 hours wasted playing.

@@CowboobsYT Yes, the later quests dealing with opening the headquarters. I had massive thriving 'cities' and I couldn't finish the quest lines. Research showed me many others had the same issues. I wish you the best of luck.
Can you update the Sim Settlements mods please. Sim Settlers 2, Sim Settlers 2 Chapter 2 and Sim Settlers 2 Chapter 3. As well as the workshop framework too please. King Gath puts out updates/bug fixes just about every week it seems. Thanks :) If it's possible, can you make it so we can do it? Right now we can't. Because of the Zombo apocalypse Sim Settlement 2 expac disables most of the mods if you disable it or remove it to add the SS2 updates for all chapters from KG :(
I wouldn't know where to start. No idea what I'm doing to be honest. When you change / remove a mod. Does it tell you that it's required for it? If so you can just ignore that. I will put this on the to do list though. Thank you for bringing to attention.

I went to update SS2, because there are countless bugs that are getting fixed, and when uninstalling, it said it was needed for the expac. Which is fine... Uninstalling SS2 also uninstalled a whole heap of other mods too. Which is weird. (see expac)
Installing the patched/update/new version of SS2 didn't change anything. Vortex still said it needed the original SS2 that came with the download... grr. Which now means I have do a completely new clean install of FO4 and redownload your installation. With Wabbajack, all you do is click overwrite and download, which puts the mod pack back to it's original state before I wrecked it with an incompatible mod :) YAY :)
Sims Settlements, Sims Settlements 2, Sims Settlements Chapter 2 and now Chapter 3 and the workshop needs to be seperate to any bashed or expack so it can be updated. The updates come out at least every week from the Kinggath team, which is great, because it's buggy as hell. There is no point putting in the SS chapters unless we can update them, the immense amount of bugs in SS is insane, so, it has to be able to be updated manually. SS is awesome though and I love it, but bugs galore, I seem to find every damn one of them and then some...and this is with out combining SS with any other mods in Vortex, just the recommended ones! (probably the buggiest mod series out there) Did I mention it's immensely buggy and needs constant updates? :) It needs updating again? I just did that... sigh... You literally can't play SS without the updates, seriously! Hope this helps 🙏🥰 (Please keep working on this project, it's great)

edit: this was recorded at 80000 bit rate actually. But it uses LOADS of storage space. I have moved down to 50000 in future series.

The reason Jun is a wreck [thus forcing his wife to be a hardass to keep them both alive] is because they JUST lost their son and from the lore tidbits, it wasn't a quick death either. It seems he was hurt and died via infection of some sort. Jun actually has some REALLY good lines when he's at a settlement and has had some time to like....recover? @@CowboobsYT
