I think this is what is gioing on with my 2008 dodge charger rt, there is a red light comes on and and in the EVIC it says brake fluid, so I tried toppinmg it up but nothing happens. Can I use the same part you posted below, I tried looking for one for my car but rockauto doensnt have one.
If you can get your phone in there take a pic under the reservoir. Have a look for the little nub that secures the switch housing. Press it in and pull the switch out. You can get a replacement herewww.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,2016,challenger,5.7l+v8,3344642,brake+&+wheel+hub,brake+fluid+level+sensor,1916

I think I have a bad sensor in my 2016 challenger, how do I remove the current sensor?
