It's all about speed with chipp the second you do hs you do super as fast as you can there's really no delays in any of his combos. The hardest thing is mastering his jump installs, you need them for access to his highest dmg

I didn't expect them to completely change the way the game works in this iteration lol. I'm actually so happy I switched to tekken cuz it by far the most balanced well made fighting game I've ever played. I know I can rely on tekken to keep the game a legacy game as well, and that was the only reason I didn't move over sooner lol, I was afraid of the sheer amount of learning I would have to do in comparison to those who have been playing for years. If you are studying for the next game then you would almost be better off playing street fighter 5 or mk11 from the looks of things, I'm being harsh of course but that's how different it is. Chipp is nothing like he is in Xrd and as soon as I saw that after having worked for almost a solid month in the lab I was done to say the least. I played for a month and switched to tekken last week and I'm so happy I did, I'm tired of them simplifying fighting games lol. That's why I left mk11 and that's why I'm leaving GG2020 unless Maximillian says its absolutely incredible, I want a mile high skill ceiling personally, I'm a lab rat lol. Xrd is amazing and you will love it but almost none of what you learn will translate over, as long as you are ok with that then I wish you luck learning all Chipps crazy shit, he is so fun to play in Xrd.

I appreciate your put notation on. But i feel difficult to interprete when you have to jump cancel during do air chain (P, D, K). Ex : Dush, jump Dush, (air sequences)D, D, D, K, S, S..... When did you jump cancel or dash from one to another ? I'm a noob trying to play guilty gear xx accent core plus r. I have to watch tutorial for GG Xrd instead of accent core because no combos tutorial for old guilty gear which i can find in youtube. (Sorry for my english).
Your english is fine i understand youre asking about the jump cancels after dust i probably should put on the virtual controller so people can see my exact inputs but after dust you can chain normals together for a small amount of time that couldnt chain normally like using multiple dusts over and over but after the Jump K i jump cancel into jump S then go from there into another jump cancel then jump S the key is speed you need to be very fast dont delay anything hope that helps and i actually like the older games over xrd
I got his jump installs but MAN tk alpha blade seems just impossible to me. I get it on neutral but off a jump cancel? No way. I keep getting grounded alpha blade and empty jump when not. I got the tk I think twice but even then it wasn't fast enough and the combo dropped. I guess it's just a strict timing? I don't suppose there are any tricks to getting it. The input I'm doing is 2369P btw. Should I rather do 8236P, *very* quickly?
The timing is different for 6HS its a semi delay into tk if that makes sense not automatic, if you want maximum dmg you gotta do it. I use the analog stick on my ps4 controller for the tk, you know youre doing it right if chipps feet are slightly hovering not half way off the ground thats the visual cue.

@@everythingfightinggames993 you basically have to be as fast as possible in one swift motion, you go from up to down heavy slash like the motion is so fast you won’t jump cancel the second you hit close slash. You know you did it right when you don’t accidentally jump after the close slash, hope this helps.
Quick question: The wall alpha blade now sends the opponent flying out the corner, which seems to be a ridiculously unnecessary buff. Do you know of any way to keep the opponent in the corner?
Well currently i havent found a way to keep them in the corner off it but i havent lab like crazy in my opinion the wall alpha blade its a buff and nerf because it opens more routes and is easier to combo off of compared to before during jump install corner combos but the trade off is oki is weaker cause since they are pulled mid screen you dont get wall cling mixup for that vortex
Before i could jump install 22hs into wall cling then jump off the wall backwards air dash into jump hs cause you know great hitbox on jhs like thats a example of crazy shit after wall alpha blade before the change in the corner but now i only get the safe jump jhs or left right teleport jhs midscreen

Well chipp is still really strong and he did get some other buffs overall in xrd he has been like a+ to s tier but i am a lil surprised they nerfed alpha blade outta everything
Its a lil odd to explain but dont input jump install during 5P startup but visually look at the fist connect and time it then do the 2HS but you gotta be fast cause 5P is a 3 frame startup 5P jump install is harder to me than the Cs Jump install 2HS
Chris Springs you have to do it as fast as possible and are you adding adding a extra close slash after the 6p by mistake? cause that cause the alpha blade to not combo
From the depths of the Internet, it takes me a while to find and edit these thumbnails. To directly answer your question a good majority of my thumbnails are art from pixiv there's a app, but it's like Japanese so it takes a while to dive through photos.

Same I just started yesterday lmao. I’m a displacer main in mkx and a kabal main in 11 so his mobility fits me perfectly

I just got xrd having a hard time doin jump canceling S attack. Advice? I tried mashing it up and S button doesnt seem to work too.
What do you mean? Like jump cancel normally after close slash or jump install doing close slash, crouching heavy slash teleport?
