Throughout the entire series, Necro has always disobeyed Dizzy, doing the throw without her permission and usually biting them while she looks on in sad resignation. In Strive she firmly tells him to stop and he listens. It's a nice detail for long time fans, lol
Undine and Necro used to have more a lot more unique details because Dizzy felt they were sperate from her and she couldn't control them. Lots of her old story is her being terrified of either Necro or Undine taking control, blacking out and what would happen if she lost all control of them since they are so over protective (and of course people were hunting her so they were kind of valid for being on edge). Now she has accepted they are not separate, they are part of her and she is in control. Seems like that's why their individuality has been toned down. Wish she stil had Bubble though.
I think it’s a way of showing that Dizzy is now a main focus and not her powers. Before she was defined by her monstrous powers, she was a danger to people around her because of them. Now she is herself and her powers are just a part of her (still very deadly thought), now she no longer fears her powers and can enjoy herself and the company of people around her. It’s about her now
In Strive, Dizzy shooting Gamma Ray by her own accord unlike before and then Undine and Necro helping her to blast it at Maximum Power without falling into her knee unlike before. Gonna miss her purple colour which represent 2 primal power she originated from.
They finally gave her a good design and smoothed over the worst of her zero-agency-girl-in-an-anime tropes. She is still peaceful and would probably prefer not to fight, but now she knows her own strength and how to employ it.

Xrd design is better. The wings alone is better. Xrd also has the benefit of having instant kill animations which also shows off how cool and strong Dizzy is

Unpopular opinion prob. but can I just say they did not make a good job of Dizzy in Strive. Not every character needs a story development. Yes, in Bridget she came out and that was great. ABA returning was a jewel. But Dizzy was representing a vulnerable girl, who survives through all hardships of life but rn its like she's just become a trad.wife who has made peace with her toxic sides. Also, could someone bring Necro back to Strive? Poor soul got stucked in Xrd.
Dizzy’s development existed before strive. Like from a girl who was hated because she was a gear to a beloved queen of a nation, all of that happened before. Now she began a new chapter in her life as Queen Dizzy.
