Thanks, Bekim! Hope to have it done by the end of the year. Shop renovation will probably take a couple weeks, then I gotta crush out some market stuff, then I'll only have a couple weeks left in 2024.
Geeat video, Mike. Glad to see you back in action, especially when it comes to furniture builds. Seems like the good 'ol days of furniture builds or regular woodworking are over. Most YT channels revolve around tools reviews, how to make money woodworking, top 10 tips/tricks, etc. So, thank you for sticking to your roots of build projects! Stay well, my friend. Also, GREAT JOB on the sobriety. 🤜🤛 💪 Tony 🇺🇸
I understand most people's move to more "tool reviews" and "tips n tricks" (etc) videos because they're a TON easier to make and more people watch them. I'm trying to find a balance because I know what I'd rather watch, personally, and it's not those. Thanks, Tony.
OLD SUBSCRIBER HERE, Astonishing work on that piece Mike! That blooper reel was a treat, honestly. This is far from my first view so I just wanted to congratulate you on your progress, and not with your work. Not too long ago I saw your video about changing a few things and I must say two things, I’m very proud of your effort! The second thing is more of a question but I’m super curious now is to what music drives you…. I saw you work with ear phones so it just got me curious.. Please keep up your outstanding art work, I’d be honored to work like you. You are in my prayers brother, god speed!
Video quality is really great and love to see you make something out of really rough starting materials! As someone who only has a very basic understanding of woodworking, the long montage would be extra informative if you threw some subtitles up explaining what you're doing in each step (even simple descriptions of the technique, which piece you're working on, etc). Regardless, love the content and keep it up!
I thought about adding subtitles but thought it would be distracting. I've also done voiceovers in the past to explain things...but didn't think they added enough value for the effort. Happy to answer questions here about anything I was doing, though.
Love the result. I'm curious to know what the design phase was like, since that's normally where things break down for me. I struggle making up my mind on a design and the type of joinery I should use, and that ends up holding me back from starting.
I actually wanted to show the design, but I can't find my sketchbook right now. haha. Maybe I'll do a dedicated video on my design process at some point. I never thought about it, because I don't know if many people would find it interesting....but maybe they would.
I was gonna add some nice clean dadoes and some curved pieces, but I still don't have a router plane or hot pipe bender. (Not many people are gonna get this joke....)
Hi Mike I saw your video glad to see you keep going! I saw the bloopers at the end, don't be too hard on yourself man is tough making videos its just part of the process. Also would you ever make really small cutting board for the kitchen or Charcuterie boards? I saw you made one board, all cutting boards tend to be really expensive on Esty, I saw mabye something small could work?
I'm never hard on myself about the bloopers. If I was I wouldn't put them in. haha. I've got a few charcuterie board videos on my channel...I've made a lot of them over the years. And the few cutting boards I've made have been in the 10"x18" range, which isn't enormous, but could certainly be smaller.
Can’t wait for part 2!!
I love seeing the project coming together…nice work Ol’ Mike! 🇺🇸
Thanks very much. Looking forward to getting the door and drawers in it!
Great work,awesome tunes.
Stay strong Mike
Thats a beautiful cabinet Mike, I love it! I can’t wait for part two!

That is really nice!
Thanks man! It'll be better when it's got its drawers and door in it and it's up on the wall and out of my way! Haha
Nice build man! And cool I just discovered a new rock band thanks to you, that TrackTribe song "Here it comes" was great!
I just use tracks from the free TH-cam studio so I know they'll be free of copyright issues. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful work! Glad to see you continuing your journey!
Thanks very much!
Looks great Mike. Gonna do dovetails on the shop stool? :D

I counted 8 different t-shirts.
That sounds high. But I suppose it's possible.
How’s your sobriety?
Still going. Hoping to record a "3 Months Sober" update next week!
@@WoodenThingsAndStuff one day at a time my friend. Your sobriety should be a jewel in your heart.🙏🏾
