Sometimes TH-cam suggests a video and I click it immediately to be sure I can it. Amazing project. Thank you for sharing with us. Enjoyed your explanations as you worked out every aspect. Video, sound, oration all perfect.
In Typical woodworker fashion, it's overkill. I love it. You now have a new subscriber. That came out nice. I'm getting ready to make a workbench out of 2x4's, solid top and beefy legs. I'll probably do a video while I make it. God bless and hope your channel grows.
@@woodandwheelz I really appreciate that! Next weeks video is a fast easy and cheap work bench with a couple add on's. It drops Sunday morning. Good luck with your build!
Awesome build with great tutorials along the way. Will hopefully be able to do something similar in my garage in the spring...it's way too cold right now to work out there LOL. I didn't have any issues with the sound.
Winter makes it tough to do projects. I have a heater in the shop but have to turn in on and off to record. Good luck when you get to your project. The sound issue is an interesting puzzle. I think it is what people are watching my videos on. TV, computer, phone etc. Either way I will address it as several others have said it is an issue for them. Thanks for checking out the channel.
I am going to copy your build! I will have to add a back to the unit because I share space in a garage. The shelf unit will be in the center without a wall behind it. I have been trying to figure out how to separate the two spaces. This will be perfect. Work bench plus storage!
Had you considered cutting the front face off the trays for the small bins? Could use the trays as spacers & utilize the sliding action for the uppers.
At the time did not consider that. I like that you are being creative about the solution though, that is the fun of project ideas and problem solving. I would still like to use those bins for something else as it is a waste not to use them at all. We shall see...
Unfortunately the plans are in my head. I tend to design on the fly as issues present themselves (like the ammo can shelves in this video). It is something I would like to provide in the future, but as a one man show it is difficult to find the time to do everything I would like to do in a week for the channel. Stay tuned but thank you for the suggestion of making plans available for the projects I do.
@@yossiyaari3760 Thanks for the input. Someone else commented on the volume issue so for sure let me know if my next video has better audio levels. I am a work in progress so still tweaking every video. Glad you liked it. 🙂
I enjoyed the build and the video. The audio was a problem for me though. It was soft and then very loud and back again. I kept having to adjust the volume. But good content and a nice storage unit! Thanks.
I am so glad you enjoyed the build, I lost my external mic a few videos ago. I love feedback though. My guess is audio when l am far away then holding the camera and music is louder? I feel like I am getting better with each video but its all a learning experience. Thanks.
Hey mate, consider a mic if you do a lot of talking in empty workshop, quite jarring to listen to up until you held the device Edit! You made a lot of cuts and unless you are deaf already it makes sense to use ear protection
@@ThatGuyNamedDavedon’t listen to this guy. These are the type of people that are just never pleased! If you did not add the music he would have commented saying that it was boring and to add music during the Timelapse.
Love it, I am definitely building this!
Good luck with the build!
Great idea
@@montimitchellsr Thanks so much... I have some upgrades planned. 🙂
Over engineered! And I love ya for it. Amazing. Build to last , not for the short term . Its epic. Thank you for sharing
That is a lot of kind words. I appreciate it!
Looks great ! Maybe add some peg board !?!?
@@chrishoward4017 Just finished editing my next video. I comment on it needing something... stay tuned for the next, next video. 🙂

Heavy duty, that bench gonna survive the apocalypse... LOL And I, like others, gonna copy that idea.
We shall see how it does over time and use to see what lasts and doesn't. Good luck to you on your build I hope you find some ways to improve upon it!

That is my exact question also
Lowe's is my closest box store and my usual go to. The bins were in my store but if not for you see if you can order on Lowe's online.
I thought I was the only one who sat and stared at the pile of lumber before starting to build. Well, It's nice to know I'm not alone 😅.
I do that a lot... what can I build? What am I building? Where did I go wrong? You can answer a lot of questions staring at your projects.
Love that storage workbench! Where can I get the plans to build one.

Had issues with volume change from talking parts to music. If you want to look into that. 🙂

I try to provide helpful feedback. It's the least I can do to return the value people like you provide.
What store did you find the ammo type boxes at?
@@gdreilly Good ole Lowe's Home Improvement. Had pallets of them in seasonal area not with the other storage bins in the aisle. Good luck. 🙂
@ThatGuyNamedDave thanks
Where did you get the small black and yellow ammo cans?
Ammo cans and 5 gallon bins came from my local Lowes. Happy shopping.

Thanks. Yes I will be working on the audio levels for the next video. I have had a few comments about that. Thanks for watching.

nice build BUT you need to level the music and you mic out to the same level the music is way to loud
Thanks for the input. I will work on that issue for the next video.
Yeah, where did the bins come from?
See my answers above but Lowe's. Have fun with your project.

I had a lapel mic for a bit until it died pretty quickly. It is a work in progress but I appreciate you watching and the advice.
Nice storage build, but hate to say I had to mute the video during most the build. Your not a band no need to show case music.
@@Junkboy888 my hyperlapse has no sound so figured music is better then silence. Thanks for the input though.
Lmfao take a chill pill and mute it whenever you would like. Sometimes keeping comments to yourself is the best option
