Came across it on a whim on steam and decided to keep an eye on it. Got it as an Xmas gift and within a week cranked out nearly 80 hours of playtime. The game really is this fantastic and i'm glad someone is talking about it. Well done. I agree. Kiwi figured out what makes a JRPG good even though most devs forgot.
I've never heard about this series, I've just got this game because it's extremely positived on steam and now I'm totally loving it, sometimes all we need is a polished game nothing more.
It's a good casual turn based jrpg. Be forewarned though, it's very, very, VERY easy to become overpowered removing any semblance of difficulty. I heard the original mobile version had a 100 day limit. They removed that limit but kept the myriad of ways to get stronger. So I guess, just by exploring freely and doing everything at least once, it's like accumulating multiple playthroughs worth of stat progression in one save.
The fact that you say it's very easy to get overpowered puts me off from playing tbh I like a decent challenge so if it's too easy something inside me just does not want to give it a chance 😢
I'm enjoying everything about this game but the fact that out of every other interesting people out there in the world they give the protagonist the worst love interest in the kingdom really does not bode well with me.
Who made the music for the game? It's beautiful and very emotional. Something about the music in aura temple and forest near merchant road makes me wanna cry. It's bitter sweet. Some happy but also feels kinda sad. Between this and witch spring 3, i like this one more. They went all out on this one.
Is there anything about the combat that's unique or is it just attack or pick a spell??? This is a bad review. Should have discussed how combat works & not gone off on a 6 min. tangent about your own personal nostalgia.
combat is fun you have spells ofc , weapon limits , blessing , atacks , follow up atacks , you can summon up to 4 pets , its nothig new to jrpgs but its good. was my frist time with this game and i really like it , also story is fun and Mc development from bartty kid to more mature teasing her love interest was quite interesting.
Craft spell, weapon and test it to fight another stronger monster, almost every weapon have special skill like limit break in ff, catching monster to become pet that help you battle, catching it feels like pokemon, hit it until weak and use mind control magic, elemental magic also useful, and some monster can kill you in one hit
"Games these days are so obsess with challenge that they're missing the point of single player game" - 5:14 Um... What does that even mean? It's fine that the game is easy, you don't have to find every excuses to compliment the game.

I also started with WitchSpring R but considering how good it is, I'm even considering jumping into the mobile games as well.
"No, we just have to wait for it to be fixed after months."

Never heard of this game or this series but it looks really good. I'm going to add it to my Steam list. Thank you!
Hope you enjoy it! :)
Is there any challenge to this, or is it like the Atelier series?
Sounds perfect for me. Excellent review, thank you. Subbed.

Pick attack and spell your thinking of turn base games... just say that

Damn you're angry about it bro
Looks cute but no English dub is a pass.
Zero discussion of combat mechanics. Horrible review.
I wished that this game was dubbed in English instead of just being in English subtitles
