- Day 3 or f the ACT sees us head through the stunning Forest of Bowland and into the Yorkshire Dales.
The ACT U.K. is a five day on road/off road adventure that takes you from Wales to Whitby. Travelling through breathtaking scenery along backcountry B roads and epic off road sections, the Adventure Country Tracks U.K. did not disappoint.

Yes, was good to see some other adventure bikes adventuring.
Great riding, i was on a KTM 890R and i decided i was a little tired and deserved a lie down TWICE on this little stretch @ 17:25 and 18:00 time stamps in your hill climb.
Thank you for watching. That climb was a challenge and those two sections you mentioned were tricky. Especially the one at 18:00. Hope you enjoyed the ACT UK.

Some absolutely stunning "laneage" on this leg Marc! Quite a gnarly bit where you met the other trail riders, was that the little 310 GS? Some great riding of that big ol' GS too, You're a different rider to the guy I first met on that trail run with saddlebags and co 12 months ago, that's for sure. You must invite Andy down and 'treat' him to your local lanes sometime! 🙂
That was Salter Fell where the 310GS fell 😜 it was a frikkin bolder field and I was hoping the would of been out of my way by the time I got close because getting the GS stopping was a battle 😂
Massive thanks for that compliment and I credit going out on those muddy lanes in North Devon one of the reasons why the ACT wasn’t as hard as it could of been.

Great job lads! Putting 98% of GS riders to shame (I don’t really mean that. GS’s make a lot of sense for touring and I quite understand any ones reluctance to off road them, but you are showing the world it can be done). Nice to see a little Himmy out there too. Amazing scenery and lanes 😍
Thanks SB. For sure the GS is a great bike and people can choose to ride it where and how they like. They’re just using 50% of its potential if they don’t go in the dirt. I thought you were stalking me when I saw the Himmy 😁

Brilliant video, but really confused as to where the other two bikes for the guys with the G310GS were! The GS should have been on Metzeler Tourance 70/30 tyres, so that track looks doable. Really tempted to ride this route on my 310GS.
You’ve said you’re tempted twice now, what’s stopping you 😁

I would of done it on my own. But then I am crazy.
And I'm accident prone :) Hopefully @ExeterRider will get a proper bike and we can do it :)
