The Thork DMD application is good, but so is Osmand. If you have a €900 to spare the Thork/ Carpe Iter tablet with thumb control is very easy. You have a lot of screen real estate, so navigating is easy and very intuitive in bright sunlight. But is it €400 better than a Zumo? I'm not sure. I have one. I can listen to Spotify, navigate with GoogleMaps, or use the inbuilt system, which is very good. But, but, but it has let me down to the point I carry a spare Garmin device and mount. Or a phone cradle for a tough phone.
Fantastic what you are doing here, you provide the track , we make the adventure ;-)
Thanks Lads
So I wonder, when naviggating with an Android phone, what app do you prefer? I’m currently trying OsMand, but find that not very intuitive.
