That acrylic bed is amazing. So much work is usually put into the rear suspension on trucks, ive always thought what better way to show it off! Cant wait to see this one at SEMA!
@RMDsGarage You've eliminated one of the key features of having a truck. I wouldn't want to put anything more than a set of golf clubs on that acrylic, but that might even scratch it. Let alone put anything remotely close to heavy on it. Why not just get a corvette lmao, would be lighter and you wouldn't of made an abomination out of a classic American hauler. Good for you if you like it and even better if the customer is happy, but ultimately not my style, you ruined a perfectly good looking truck in my opinion. Or saved it from going into a scrap heap, which if you did I thank you for that. But not even a ribbon anywheres, c'mon. I guess it doesn't deserve it. That "vehicle" is a thing of it's own nature. SEMA's a joke, you should be out driving the vehicles not gallivanting them around like they're beauty models. Vehicles are meant to be used to get from point A to point B, sometimes even haul small cargo. They shouldn't be pieces of "art" so you can raise shop awareness by getting brownie points at some beauty pageant for vehicles. That's just my opinion though. I want to see the piss driven out of it at auto-cross and I'll take it back. Maybe. lmao. Also, a trucks meant to have a bench seat... What even is that interior? This was a Chevy truck, not a Cadillac Escalade... I've seen much worse though, and way lower.
