    The sun wheel is used in all Shamanic practice, it represents the East, South, West and North, the Sky, the Earth and finally the person in the Centre which is the 7th sacred direction, so as above, so below. I am sure the people of the Iron Age understood these sacred directions by understanding the Cosmic connections they had to Mother Earth herself. Your videos are very enjoyable / thanks to you.

    Very nice presentation. I wonder if anyone has made a video deeply explaining Odin ism. Was there a code of honor attached to war and the, at home, was there a code of ethics? A recent new edition of Icelandic Sagas is out and is very good reading. Real history remembered for centuries until written down. These were the first narrative writings in Europe.

    So here is some real feedback; I have been wearing The Helm of Awe for about two months, its in copper. I did some night caps the other night and about and hour in the symbol started, I dont know how to put it...it attacked me well not attacked but it was all I could see. It was every where I looked, when I closed my eyes there were hundreds of em. It forced me to go out side (full moon) I then had to take off everything I was wearing, to include the HOA. Things started to calm down in about 30 mins and after awhile the images turned to one but now in the form of the I ching (just like on the S Korean flag). The rest of the night was outstanding. But I tell you, I think it was reacting to the WIFI. I was getting down right evil vibes in the house. So I figured to do some more research and here I am. Take it for what its worth. Thank you for the video

    • @DagaanGalakticos
      @DagaanGalakticos 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What an interesting experience. I wonder what the evil it was you felt? Maybe just impurities and dead vibes in the house. The symbol itself sure isn't evil. And then it turning into the Taoist symbol . . . that seems like the directions turning into adaptive fluidity.

    Hey, being a religious leader isn't the same thing as being a practitioner of magic. There were plenty of male goðar, but all the vǫlur were women.

    • @Skjalden
      @Skjalden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it is difficult to give a definitive answer if there were more goðar or gyðja, we all have our opinion, but we are lacking evidence.
      I also think that it depends on how someone defines a religious leader. I see the magical aspect as part of the religious practice, and, that would mean more women were the religious leaders.

    • @andersengman3896
      @andersengman3896 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Skjalden I wasn't talking about the ratio of goðar/gyðjur. It's possible that there were more females, actually, but what I said was that vǫlva =/= gyðja.
