I used to have a cherry blossom light like this in my room when I was younger! Such a pretty way to decorate.. Thank you for another beautiful diy. I think I'll remake it and give it to my mom for Christmas as a replacement for the old one that's long been broken!

AHH I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. YES. I dunno if you watch Threadbanger but Corinne has a large light up branch tree like this with purple flower lights. I've wanted a tree like that for years and didn't know where to find one. ....this DIY IS PREFECT! I made this lamp for my nephew. Here are the details:
4" terra cotta pot, with a bigger hole in the bottom. I bought a pot with a small 3/4" hole, it was too small so I used my Dremel to make it bigger. It was a big pain, took forever, js. I bought floral wire and floral tape from Hobby Lobby. You can order birch bark colored floral tape online. The lights are important, you want smooth, narrow lights. I learned from buying the wrong ones the first time. I bought 100 led warm lights the second time, the brand is "Winter Wonder", from Big Lots. It took me about 4 hours to finish. It's beautiful though.

I just found one down by the dumpster that somebody else made but I was thinking I needed to like do something to it and the flowers are a really good idea at first I thought you meant the lighted flowers that you can buy on Amazon but that would work also I like yours better though

i think i would have put it in the pot like a real potted plant. and covered the battery pack with some of that fake moss. so it would have looked like a real tree! :D
oh and the flowers looked super cute!!
That was actually my first design, but I didn't want to have to deal with taking the tree completely out of the pot whenever I wanted to turn it on/off and to change the batteries. With the way I did it in this, I only have to tip the base to access the battery pack. But you could totally do it like how you said, it would look super cute! I was actually thinking about making another but making the tree look similar to a bonsai or something, so I think I'll rethink the base/pot/battery pack design with that one :)
