    WOW! Your cone trees are beautiful. I did some white cone trees this year. They came out nice but not like your trees. Merry Christmas!🎄☃️

    I love all these different trees ! That mulberry wine red colour is gorgeous I want to find that wool/ yarn and make one too! I made my first tree out if the Lacey edge of paper doilies just staggered them hit glued as I went and I loved it then I got my grammas pearls and rhinestones and strung them around a cone now it’s my most favourite of all . Thanks for the inspiration you Rock don’t leave TH-cam just take care of you first then when you feel up to doing more you can . When I’ve subscribed to people I rarely ( ok never!) go by daily and get mad if they haven’t posted for a few days . I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and my crafting is fun but not always possible when I’m having a pain flare . I love your creative spirit stay healthy and Happy Thank you for sharing with us all . 😊❤

      Thanks Bronwyn. I bought the wine coloured yarn at Michaels, I have also linked to it in my description box and amazon shop. But any fat blanket yarn would work. Thanks for watching Take care!

    Love your trees. Could you please show how you put the bottom cover on your tree. Since the cone there will not have a ‘bottom’ on it after the cone is glued to make a cone. I hope I didn’t confuse you.

      Thank you! Go to 10:03 - 10:23, I put a bottom on the green tree there. I hope that helps you!

      I picked up the leaf trim at Dollarama. Try the dollar store, and if not, I have a link to it on Amazon, over at my shop: www.amazon.com/shop/designbyd9 (affiliate link)

    How did you create the cone itself before decorating

  • @samanthanelson9245

    Do u have to use the spray adhesive or can u use mod podge for the first cone with yarn tree

    • @DesignbyD9
      @DesignbyD9  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could probably do the tree without any adhesive. I think mod podge might be a bit too wet. If you do use it, let it dry until it's almost dry and just lightly tacky.
