I do enjoy your blokes dry humour, but have taken a shine to Marks classic 1 liners.
Keep them coming.
Cheers mate! 🍻 Plenty more where that came from 👍
Tripped across the Simpson Desert with my young bloke a couple of years back. Early April. Hot. Esky with ice. No fridge. No dramas. Give it a go. We had dehydrated meals a couple of nights but cold drinks all the way.
Another great episode.
That’s it mate!! Don’t need to make it complicated or expensive to get out there and have fun!
(But an Engel in a tinny with cold beer is pretty sweet when it has battery power 😂)
@TrueNorthAdventures very true.
Bonus with the esky is you can hold onto it if the ship goes down. At least until the crocs get you 😂
I found bought ice doesn’t last long, much better results with deep frozen water bottles. Just stick them in the freezer at home 2 weeks before leaving to ensure they are as frozen as you can get.
Some epic shots of the fish underwater Phil, loved that one as the fish came out!
Please don’t make Phil’s head any bigger than it already is… 😜😂
Unceremonious releases. Love Australia.
😂🙌
A few blokes floating down the river fishing in the middle of nowhere has a lot of similarities to the movie deliverance. The question is which one plays the banjo !?!
😂😂😂
Another great episode, great work guys, cheers and COLD beers.
Cheers mate!! 🍻
Your adventures just keep getting me sick of being at home, awesome stuff
Thanks mate!! glad you're enjoying them!
awesome video :)
Thanks mate 👍
Thanks again for your great work 😂
Cheers mate!
epic video boys, really enjoyed it
Cheers mate!! 🍻
Another Great video! I use the Distance app to measure river distance. Works really well.
Cheers mate! Will give it a go 👍
Fished the wenlock early 2000 never got a sooty that big there horses great job ❤😂
Cheers mate!! Yeh heaps of good size ones around 👍
These are the YouBoob highlights of my week.
Cheers mate! Thanks for watching!
welldone boys
Cheers mate!!! 🍻
What more can I say 😂 you boys are zzzzzzzzzz great 💯
Cheers for watching mate 🙌
Love it 😂, but can you three rate the best footwear on these sorts of trips ?
Cheers mate! We've tried a few options and still resort back to a pair of thongs, but when we do the floats a pair of water shoes comes in handy 👍
Tagged a lot of barra, toga and sooties in the upper Wenlock.
Very cool mate! We are yet to catch a tagged fish anywhere…
Another great clip more laughs yeah steve whatever you do dont put your hands in the water . Iam not sure but did you fullas say at the start how far that trip was by river.I have done a trip in my kaykak by road it is 25 ks by river 8 and a half hours bugger all obstructions and pretty well in flood hard on the old rear end
The trip was somewhere between 40 and 50km. Was defintiely slow becuse of the log jams and water is flowing but not quickly
Take a Hessian Bag as Backup ! Beers in the bag over the side of the boat in the water. Not cold but not hot too.
Good idea! 👍
Baxter needs to sharpen his skills on releasing the fish 🤣🤣🤣
Haha We've never seen someone so talented at releasing toga before they get in the boat 😂😂
Love the content fellas, it almost feels like you are there.
Just some advice to extemd the life of your lil engel. What i use to do is swap out the fans for a low power/more cooling PC noctua or artic fan. I have a 75l waeco that had about 25% power saving just from swapping shitty china fan.
Cheers mate!! Thanks for watching!!
Cheers for the tip. Will check it out 👍
Just turn the can up and down beside your ear and you can hear it
Try it at home with a six pack
It works
Will give it a go! 👍
How’s the serenity 🤙🏼
So good!!
arethe toga good eating? What gear are you using
Hey mate. We haven’t tried them ourselves but all reports say they are full of small bones and don’t taste great.
Our reels are a mix. Baxter and Steve use Shimano bait casters and Marc uses a spin reel.
For the floats we use shorter rods similar to the Shimano “Raider Dash” rod.
We used to freeze our beer before the trip better than ice
Interesting… I thought that made it go flat?
@@TrueNorthAdventures intrigued, I’ll sacrifice one and let you know tomorrow.
How did you know it’s defrosted?
What is the slab count for a trip like that boys?
We budget about 8 beers each per day and it usually works out over a long trip. Some quiet days. Some are not so quiet 😂
Cracker episode as always lads!!
Cheers mate! 🍻
Warm beer? What were you (not) thinking (about)?
Why dehydrated meals, didn’t like the fish you caught?
😂 You're right... Clearly we dropped the ball.
Meals: Easy, tasty and lightweight. We like fish but didn't want to eat it for every meal.
@@TrueNorthAdventures EPIRBs should really come with a “we just need a load of ice (as in frozen water) mate” button!
Hey guys hello from alaska usa, say guys, are you not allowed to cut out waterhazard debris? Love your adventures good luck an tight lines
Hey mate, thanks for the support!
Yeah we can cut down obstructions across those creeks although we often find it quicker just to go over or around. Even if we did clear it, the next wet season would create the same amount of blockages anyway.
That Barra looked legal size, why not keep for feed?
Closed season 😪
Don’t worry we’re planning our trip this year for open season 👍 (that will probably mean we catch none)
Look forward to watching your adventures. Keep up with the great content.
Next time stick the beers in a bag and chill in the river.
Yeh we did a bit of that as the trip went on and we started to get more desperate.
I don’t want a beer 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Unbelievable right!
I think that says it all! …..🤷♂️
Where was the emergency?
You don't consider running out of hot beer an emergency?
So what’s the emergency?
What’s the emergency??? Did you not hear that our beers were all hot?
@@TrueNorthAdventures click bait is all that’s worthy of
Why did you not take a solar blanket,Also goes to prove we have loss our sense to survive in the bush like our forefathers 18th hundred even early 1910 ,we’re we go the kitchen sink follows.
We did but it wasn't enough. Just leaving it out during lunchtime didn't put in enough power to keep up with the fridge, and we couldn't put it out in the boat as it would get in the way while fishing. We might have a fix next episode though... 🤔👍
Hot beer you blokes just failed the first rule totally un Australian
We’ll hand in our passports… 😪
@@TrueNorthAdventures no need to they should have already been confiscated
